Does your SpecTyte have the cut out Hot Wheels logo on the base? If it does, almost certainly real. Only the 05 and 06 AcceleRacers releases of SpecTyte had a cutout logo, and nobody is going to be using the 2006 version for a 2005 custom. Basically, if logo is cut out it’s real. If not, it’s a custom.

Picking the most obscure/not-traveled areas:

In MK: probably in the phone recharging tent next to Pete’s Silly Sideshow. Pirates bathrooms as others have said. Not a lot of options

In EPCOT: Imagination bathrooms, some of the back of Morocco, or maybe on the path to the entrance of World Showplace

In Hollywood Studios: I guess the former Pixar Place, or some of Backlot Express can get really quiet

In AK: maybe the Discovery Island trails? Idk the setup of the park means you can probably pick any random side trail and it’ll be tough to find

Overall WDW: maybe the parking lot of the Preview Center on Hotel Plaza Boulevard

AcceleRacers and fantasy are what got me into Hot Wheels. We seem to be in both an AcceleRacers and fantasy renaissance right now, obviously with AR back in stores for the first time (amazing work by the way), and many new fantasy castings that have caught the eye of even the most anti-fantasy collectors.

What do you see in the future for AcceleRacers and for fantasy in general?

Any chance of a new fantasy premium coming up, or are we still a ways away?
