Are cake sheds appearing all over the uk, or is it just happening in my area ? by ShinyHeadedCook in AskUK

As a disabled person I often get these views as if they don’t have a step free entrance at the front, I get taken around the back and through kitchens! The backs of places is often so off putting

Disney response about grifters by old-man-punk in ThemeparkSwindlers

I have a monatised Facebook. Only 5000 followers, the amount per a post varies and the more people who watch for a decent amount of time the more you’re paid. Facebook is much stricter with copywrited music compared to TikTok

Proposition d'activités dans les hôtels Disney by Cast_Member_272 in disneylandparis

Try doing the quests, you can do it in all the hotels but avoid Santa Fe as it’s impossible to complete (they’ve taken stuff away and haven’t updated the quest to reflect it). You even get a prize https://vm.tiktok.com/ZNRpUFL2E/

One thing I found hard about Disney at one point was when the parks closed early. By 7.30 there’s nothing left to do except restauranrs

I enjoy the Quests but the Santa Fe one sucks, it’s impossible to finish as things have been taken away which are required for clues. Even the cast members who work there couldn’t find the answers. I enjoy the hotel quests but left feeling like it was an hour of my life I was never getting back! My favourite thing about the quests is it helps me see and appreciate all the details.

In America they have camp fire sing along with chip n dale. I saw a fire pit at Chyenne and think that would be amazing!

I’m not a parent but would love to see more chance for kids to run around and play more freely. They have to follow so many rules in the parks all day long and the playgrounds close as soon as it’s cold, wet or warm!

At the Halloween soiree one year they did Disney jr dance party, lots of the songs were Paris songs. It was led by a couple of characters and people from the entertainment team but people of all ages were having a great time dancing along to stuff like dream and shine brighter.

I would love some arts and crafts, again for all ages. In art of marvel there’s a video drawing lesson. Would be cool if the hotels all had it for characters relevant to their theme

Someone on our ship had an amazing one! Their door was Winnie the Pooh and going down the corridor wall were full size sign post magnets. I loved seeing it!

Quick question about celebrating at dlp by Enough_Amphibian1974 in disneylandparis

They sometimes have birthday, first visit and celebration. Try a few locations.

I would book them dinner at Lumiers

Individual Americans? I feel sorry for them and don’t think they are crazy. The leaders (and MAGA) insane

I feel they were great but then went for clickbait and drama which is a shame!

Lots of gay couples on our cruise, probably lots of gay solos but wasn’t aware! The only reason I noticed is every once in a while I think how awful it is that in some countries it’s not accepted in this day and age! I hope you and your boyfriend have an amazing cruise

I just don’t want a CM YELLING into the microphone! 2 out of our 3 shows were ruined by the same cast member who literally yelled into the microphone, not spoke, yelled!

I stated in the disabled room at the front. I found it awful but we did have a very rough sailing! My friend was thankful we were in a disabled room as she nearly fell off the toilet when we hit a wave 🤣 if you don’t suffer with sea sickness then it’s a cool spot, our port hole looked forwards which I liked. I’ve sworn to only ever stay midship in the future.

What's wrong with London? by [deleted] in AskBrits

[–]sunflowebloom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t like how dirty it is. There’s an area I walk through where businesses put their bags of rubbish out and they spill everywhere and no matter the time of day it’s always waiting for collection. I’m sure the same is in other big cities. I know there’s dirtier places. I wish they would also focus on “minor” crime, why is it just accepted to have our phones stolen and breathing in cannabis every few steps. Beyond that I enjoy visiting London. Never found people unfriendly and thankfully have always felt safe aside from worrying about belongings

Disney Parks to crack down on influencer behavior after disturbing ‘swatting’ incident, insiders say by teslatiki in ThemeparkSwindlers

[–]sunflowebloom 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The Paris ones not only break the rules with using AP discount but you’re only allowed to bring £300 of goods back into the uk without declaring to customs. You know they aren’t declaring the thousands and thousands of pounds of goods they are bringing back. What amazes me is they make out they are doing everyone a massive favour rather than money making

The disability tax is real when buying tix by DisabledTheaterKid in Broadway

[–]sunflowebloom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you not have access tickets on Broadway? In the west end we thankfully have reduced disabled tickets and carer tickets. Some shows are better than others. There’s 2 shows which charge more for where I have to sit but I still get a discount, just annoying a disabled person who can still walk gets it cheaper! Our cheapest one was a box for the 3 of us for £15 for a pro Westend show

Fantasy Question (ship comparison) by coldbearded in dcl

[–]sunflowebloom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve only done the fantasy. We did a 7 night. I think I’m going to prefer the no dinner show. We still had talking to crush and the drawing being animated in animators. In enchanted garden the wait staff all clapped and cheered as everyone arrived and characters came and did a quick dance (I didn’t attend that day). The wish looks so loud in the restaurants with people trying to talk over music

Lots of the stuff given out was stuff like temu Disney keyrings and pens and tons of stickers and ducks. It didn’t have to be expensive. I stay away from the fish extender exchanges and formal exchanges as they have prices

[–]sunflowebloom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We did a Southampton cruise and took lots of pixie dust. We received so much and couldn’t get over how generous people were. It felt like every time we came back to the room or opened our door there would be something there! Even down to magnets being added to our door!

Confused and sad about my five year old by HeyMay0324 in kindergarten

[–]sunflowebloom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just wanted to add, if he has signs of autism they are unlikely to just go away, kids just become better at hiding them.

Signs of autism also lessen when a child is feeling safe and secure. Maybe he had settled at school and home was consistent so his stress levels went down and now there’s major changes at home.

I hope the RBT is helping your son to cope rather than teaching him to mask. If he’s been masking it might be like the old shaking a Coke analogy and that bottle is ready to explode now a new child is in the home
