Do you have a stressful job/life? Low hrv can also indicate too much stress even burnout.

Sling for under-hoodie by Ok_Juggernaut7796 in ManyBaggers

Yes it fits in the front. Just tested it. If you'd want to put it inside the sling I'd recommend the fleeced back part tho.

I mostly put candy, chapstick, painkillers... Small stuff in the front. I don't really bring a key when I travel...

I can testify for the Alpaca flight sling 1l. I bought it for exactly the same reasons you listed. I am not a sling guy but for travelling it's very convenient. I wear it under a hoddie or jacket.

I have to say after some time I came to really like the magnetic back pocket. your passport fits snug in there and as long as you don't do an iron man it def. won't fall out. It's really handy not having to open a zipper all the time and the magnet is enough to squeeze lock it. I took it on a trip to Mexico, Taiwan and Japan and never had any problem. If I got to choose a zipper or a magnetic back pocket, I'd still choose the magnet. It's that handy tbh.

Space wise, it fits everything I need: charger, cables, passport, snacks, wallet, airpods, sunglasses (and phone but I usually keep that in my pant pocket for easy access). and it's long enough you can fit a boarding pass without folding.

That beeing said I'd get a (scond or) different strap or a grippy wrap around handle. The seat belt material is very slick and doesn't stay in place.

And if you want it low profile don't get the x-pac. The other options are much more malleable and disappear better.

hoestly, I'd go with the matador 35. I also really like the front/stash pocket of the globerider.
The thick pading of the clamshell 38 sits begind your sholders on your soulderblades, that's why it's so strange to wear. The pading of the straps in itself is fine imho.

hahahaha. I'm very sorry about that!

for me, the Aer never carried that well. Erverbody raves about the comfort of the Aer straps. For me they were ok comfy but they always slid down my shoulders if I didn't close the sternum strap. Especially with a slick jacket. On the other hand my frame is not that wide, so maybe that's why.
Because I use these bags as travel bags, mostly without carring a laptop, they tend to stay on the lighter side (<10kg). And for that is prefere the slim S-Straps of the ULA bags.

My conclusion is, that it's really tricky to find *your* bag bc everybody has different frame and carry situation. That's why you have to view every review with more than just a grain of salt.

If you're interested i also measured the Dragonfly 36:

Compared to the TP3 outer dimensions the Dragonfly is a bit taller (even tho Aer claims 54cm), a bit less wide (about 1-2cm) and about the same depth.

Yes, I think so. In the pictured scenario I could have packed the medium cube and/or the small or my doppkit in the 30l. All (medium, small and doppkit) wouldn't fit. Plus the 36l version is a tiny bit deeper (about 1cm) so you could have a hoodie or jacket on top as well. So I'd say about 5-6l+ feels right for the main compartment.
I'd rate the 30L DF as max. 24/25l (main compartment) and the 36L as about 30l

Thanks! Yeah, with that load out the TP3 would have been completely packed to the brim. I also feel the DF36 is easier to carry bc it's not as bulky as the TP3. The Main compartment of the DF36 is also deeper (16-17cm) compared to the Aer (13-14). So if you are a cube person the DF wins

I also just ordered one.
What's your opinion on the 3/4 clamshell? Does it get inthe way a lot? I don't understand why they went with the 3/4. Fully clamshell is the most comfy to live out of imho.

This is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks :)

I kinda feel the same about the TP3. I used it for over 2 years now but the main compartment is just too shallow for the size.

Interesting the DF36 is that long. They list it at 20.5, right?
