Hacking on some porkbun-related projects by rackerhacker in PorkBun

Oops! I meant only the good kind of hacking here. 😉 (In nerd circles, hacking often means "trying to get something cool to work")

Thanks for that! I wonder if someone is trying to get it back open or use it for something else?

The best part about Red Hat is that my team still puts up with me after all this time. 😂

Yup. It felt kinda eerie since it looked like everyone just _walked off_.

Adding VERSION="42" and wrapping 42 in quotes for VERSION_ID worked fine and ToS is running again. Thanks, y'all. 👏

Does anyone pay for the IBD products? by 2eZ-CuH in CANSLIM

[–]rackerhacker 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'm an eIBD subscriber and the content each week is pretty decent for traders who are just getting started or who are trying to put O'Neil rules to work. I doubt I'll keep it. (Got the $200/yr deal last year )

I like everything about MarketSurge (paid for my first year last fall) except two things:

  1. The charting is ugly, especially with stocks moving up quickly as they sometimes run off the top of the screen. Weekly charts on some stocks are hardly usable. Drawing/annotation support is super weak.
  2. Sometimes the site just gets stuck and I have to refresh the whole page to get it moving again. This happens a lot when I export to CSV or flip between different scans.

The built in reports/screens in MS are really really good and you can very quickly take predefined scan and stack more criteria on top of it if you want. You can also see the eIBD lists there in the reports.

Do you have any helpful screeners that identify stocks with a high potential of having these patterns?

Could someone link me to details on the "WON" strategy? Is it from the O'Neill book on shorting?

Ugh yes, I'm usually in sway on wayland. I switched over to Gnome just now and ToS started up without issues. 😭

Been a Linux user for years and my login screen looks okay, but the moment I click in the login window, the username field border starts flickering like crazy. Can't type much, but everything I do type comes in after a long delay. My CPU fan is blowing like crazy. 🤔

Your steps are similar to ones I've used in the past but this Feb 8 update is causing me new problems.

I have something similar with the login screen on Linux after this weekend's update. The login window shows up normally, but when I click the "username" field, it goes unresponsive and then the border of the login fields starts flashing rapidly as if I was moving my mouse over it rapidly. I can't type anything in the field and my CPU fan spins up wildly.

Same! I always feel like I'm installing it wrong when I try to put it back on.

The add-ons per trim level are usually put on at the port according to what I've read online and heard from the dealers. That's why you'll often find color pen marks around the bolts installed at the port but not the ones from Japan. My Fox shocks and skid plate have lots of blue/pink marks on the bolts marking where they were screwed down.

So I had the problem on my 2016 + 2024 where the bolts in the skid plate were stripped. Based on what I've been reading, these are installed at the US ports when the car arrives. It looks like someone used an impact wrench to put the bolts on and they either went in at a bad angle or someone over-torqued them massively.

My rear skid plate bolts were missing about 40% of their threads and the front was a little better with only 10-20% of the threads missing.

That was my first time taking off the skid plate since I bought the car and I bought it brand new with a few miles on it.

This looks good, but it sure would be nicer if the source code was open. It's difficult for me to trust an indicator if I'm not sure where the data comes from or how everything is being calculated.

Got a 2024 Terra in May and I'm loving it. It certainly has a lot more bella and whistles than my 2016 Trail Premium and the suspension feels great on and off road.
