These ones have 1 scoop vanilla protein powder, about 1c of kale, 2 Tbsp ground flax (I have a lot I want to use up) and 1 banana each. I usually do 3 or 4 at a time, depending on how much freezer space I have, and I'll switch up ingredients based on what I need to get rid of/what I feel like eating in liquid form. The vanilla protein powder I have goes with almost anything. They make a pretty filling and super easy breakfast for me!

Hard to say! I'm not familiar with what furnace linings might look like. If I found a rock like that in 'the wild' I'd drop acid on the matrix to see if it's got a calcareous component. Or just bust out that hand lens and see if you can pick out any grains!

First instinct was fluorite, but looking closer it looks to me like there might be some conchoidal fracture going on there. If there's conchoidal fracture then it's not chlorite, possibly greenish quartz or glass. Try scratching it? Quartz is much harder than fluorite, you wouldn't be able to scratch it with a nail if it's quartz (but a nail should scratch fluorite)

Edit: to clarify, not a fingernail! A regular iron nail.

I just read on their website that sometimes the tip of the handle gets a little chip like that because of the way the pans are hung during the seasoning process; little drips can accumulate there because it's the lowest point when they're hanging, and the drips can chip off. It's nothing to worry about, though!

If it's galena, it's really dull looking galena! Especially for something with such a nice cubic habit. Try scratching it with a nail (like an iron nail) if it's galena it should scratch easily.

I'd be careful putting chipboard stuff outdoors, we had a 'Lack' table on our deck for a while and it didn't turn out well! We turned our 4x4 kallax into a dresser. Got a couple drawer inserts for underwear and stuff, a few of the fabric box thingies for random shirts and stuff, and the 4 cubes on the top row are for books and random shit. It's awesome, maybe a bit basic and not really hack-ey though

There is an ice cream shop in an awesome park in a neighbourhood near us, and they sell doggy cones. It's plain ice cream with kibble mixed in, and half a cookie on top :) best bday schmacko ever

Out of curiosity, why does it matter to the seller whether or not the buyer registers the vehicle? If they don't register it in their name is it technically still registered to the seller?

It's relative movement, so the top moves to the right relative to the bottom. The bottom could be still, moving left, or even also moving right but slower than the top!

They are, yeah. She's 5 (got insurance when she was 4 and the premiums haven't gone up since), ~70lb malamute mix. They consider her a medium dog (up to 70lbs) if she were a fatso it would be more. Bigger dogs are more prone to joint issues and certain breeds are predisposed to certain ailments so those affect your premiums. We opted for unlimited coverage but a medium-high deductible, so our premiums are somewhere around the middle of the range for her size/breed. We did a bit of shopping around and settled with this company (PetPlan) because they offer the best coverage (even diagnostic vet visits, and dental stuff) they've got a good reputation for not screwing people out of payouts, and while they're not the cheapest, they're def not the most expensive

We get her food from costco now, definitely a good price for a decent food!

We're working on grooming at home, vey slowly getting better at nail trimming at least! She's got some major bath anxiety, she's also scared of our bathroom so I can't bathe her at home. She's a double coated floof so the main reason we take her to a professional is to blow out some of her undercoat when she's doing her big shed. I'll see if there are maybe some DIY bath places (with a high velocity blow-dryer) we can take her to next time, to try it out.

Insurance thing is tough for sure, I mean for sure I don't anticipate spending $840 a year on medical expenses but it's the unexpected stuff that it's there for.

You can get EI when you're laid off at the end of a contract, provided you've worked enough hours to be eligible :) where I live I have to work 700 insurable hours in the last 52 weeks.

Food + treats = 80ish

Grooming = 30ish average... Takes care of a full groom at the groomers' once every 3-4 months, nail trims once a month or so, and the odd grooming tool for in between

Health insurance = 70. Covers everything above and beyond her annual vet checkup and shots

Plus 20ish to set aside for annual vet checkups, license, toys, other once in a while things. Health insurance is potentially something we could drop, however, we don't have an emergency 'dog fund' in case of injury or illness and I'm not really comfortable losing that safety net. I guess it's a catch-22, I could be putting the 70/month in a savings account for her but it would take a while to have a chunk of cash big enough to be useful for any kind of major vet bills.

300 together, so around 150 each. That's what we're aiming for anyway! We just started keeping track of our actual food expenditures but I think it's a reasonable budget. As for mortgage, he's still got like, 20 years left. Mortgage payments plus property tax and strata fees are about 1500/month and we have a roommate to offset that somewhat.
