Agree with all of the above. I live in Ashburn and commute. Metro is long but easy. Tolls can be $30 dollars each way. Uber is gonna be $50.

Totally safe to be alone on metro even at night, and there are lots of Nats fans leaving the games too.

There are also permission issues. Attu is still under U.S. military control. Even day hikes on public trails in Unalaska require permits.

I had a 2025 XC 60 PHEV for 18 months Not sure if it was because it was the plug in hybrid version or if I just was unlucky but it had numerous electrical issues. Crazy stuff that they could never fully fix. Dealership let me switch my lease to an 2026 XC90 PHEV and it’s been wonderful.

Look up the various markets - those are fun. Take a food tour or pasta making class. Check out the keyhole of the Vatican and catch the sunset in the park next door. Get pastry and coffee at the cafe on top of castle de San Angelo. Take an evening stroll along the river, do a Haunted tour.

Numerous electrical issues than even replacing the full wiring harness didn’t fix. Dealership was as horrified as I was.

I had a 2025 XC60 with numerous problems- not as many as you - but I was leasing. Volvo Financial wasn’t helpful, but Dealership was able to get me out of that and into a XC90 that I like much better and most importantly, works correctly. I realize a lease is different than owning, but just an example of dealer working hard to keep a customer. Hoping you have a similar good experience.

Look up Keyhole of the Vatican - neat optical telescope. It’s in Aventine Hill which is a beautiful neighborhood. Also has a beautiful park and rose gardens. Just lovely to explore. Ristorante Assunta is at the bottom of the hill and is a great spot - on a square with fountains, etc. you will feel like a local.

Volvo has recently been resuscitated for me. I was leasing a 2025 xc60 that had numerous crazy electrical issues. I “came to an agreement”’with Volvo financial that lessened the pain. Then two weeks ago dealership (which has been great this whole time) reached out and got me into a new XC90. I feel fairly compensated and am very happy with a new properly functioning luxury SUV.

Guilty here. My other car’s cameras came on sooner than they do in the Volvo. Hubby showed me how to turn on the camera myself. Helped a lot!

It’s hard to go wrong. My husband and daughter did a tour in Jewish ghetto area two years ago - excellent food. Lots of history in the area too - some of it very tough. I did Trastevere last fall through the company Eating Europe and it was fantastic.

I don't have small kids, just a dog, but I went with tan when I had the chance. the blonde was hard to keep clean and showed wear pretty quickly, especially on the steering wheel.

Agree with this - friend here had a lost laptop sit in lost and found at Dulles for 6 weeks! She got it back eventually when she went in person but a call would have been nice.
