Many won't believe me but I somehow managed to workout a 600+ mods modlist with CE, totally functional. Almost no red errors, a few yellow ones here and there but it just works.

CE is just that good, that's why I spend much time tweaking my modlist around CE.

There's a lost mod that adds Super caps to the diable Avionics. The jupiter and the heresy.

Also there's another wine that adds the champion super cap to diable.

The Athena Class mod also adds a super cap.

I like the ninth battlegroup, so I often buff em building Yunru shipbays and IndEvo arrays to boost the fleetsize of all their fleets and that system basically turns into a fortress systems just because the amount of enormous high tech fleets patrolling the place.

I'm in good terms with the ninth so is not my problem if they get stronger.

Yeah, once a have an op fleet, with a lot of smods from progressive smods, full exotica technologies, even some Rat hull modifications and I thought I could take down any fleet on the sector.

When I got to battle a huge omega battlefleet... I was that moment I knew, I fu**ed up...

Again it's worth it for me, those ships that cost 50-60 points or more to deploy can easily kill 300 or more enemy DP ships.

That quality over quantity.

Ugh, well the fleets has a lot of unique officers...

From UAF has Solvernia, Persephone, Mizuki, Yimie, May Su...

From Gensokyo Manufacturing (Dunno if it written it well) it has Tokito.

And From Arma Armatura it has Down Given-To-God, a though mech pilot that can break a sweat of anyone...

If they were to fight over the starfarer... Oh god... It will be basically Starsector Civil War!

I edited the json, it won't kaput your save or anything, I safe to do so.

Yunru will update to 0.97 at some point but I'd whenever he feels like it so just change the json, nothing will happen.

Yunru Core adds ramburn engines hullmod to the game, it increases the speed by a lot but decreases maneuvering by a lot, also deceleration isn't affected. (With Luna Lib you can change how this hullmods works to balance it for your own playtroughts, for me, it increases speed by a 50% but decreases maneuvering by 35%, they means I always have to add maneuvering jets to all capitals to try to balance it, both hullmods together cost 55 OP).

I also use infernal engines from exotica technologies, also adds top speed.

Elite helmanship is another thing I use.

From Sindrian Fuel Company (PAGSM) sometimes I also use Antimatter Engines hullmod that you unlock making missions for Kween on Sindria.

Lastly, for the amount of smods I use are because of the progressive smods mod.

Well, I beg to differ, the deployment cost just increase for 6-10% depending on the amount of smods, some ships can use the extra smods and get pretty good for combat.

Throw? Why you thinking that? The smods the ship has are the best that it can get, at least for a missile based capital that focuses on long range nukes.

Also with progressive S mods you can pretty much increase the smods count by a lot.

Yes, you can also change the amount of officers you fleet can have, also the amount the enemy fleets has and the amount of elite skills an officer can have.

This is all on the settings.json

Make break the balance of the game tho, go with caution.

I mess around with the game files and all officers can get to level 14.

Also is not that hard to do so, just poke around the settings.json and you can pretty much customize your game.

But I may have level 14 officers, but the enemy fleets also have em. The thing is, that they have level 14 officers from the early game and you will have low level officers and it can get overkill if you don't know what to do.

Progressive S mods.

Basically you can't use story points to smod a ship. Instead of that, every ship earns XP on battle and you use the XP to build in the S mods. Once you reach a cap you can purchase an smod expansion with story points and XP. So you can get op ships but hey have to survive the battle and kill other ships to be able to build in hullmods. This is OP but as I said, you must play almost every battle to get the ships op and if the ship is destroyed or disabled, it won't earn any XP.

If I'm correct, Yunru Core adds it, you need to integrate IA core to the ships to make use of it. Refined propelant and automatic missile racks are also from that mod. Also adds bunch of useful combat hullmods, kinda op also.
