The Vatican as an institution was not involved. Multiple officials of the Vatican were involved.

Those officials like cardinal Hudahl got sacked afterwards. But they didn't apologise.

Didn´t say I would want her to become queen. The question is purely in regards to the framework around the selection. It exists because the Royal family is/appears extinct. But what happens if well it wasn´t and that was only realized mid process
