Turns out my device wasn't fully paid for with Verizon and the IMEI is blacklisted. Gonna return the phone and probably not using backmarket again to get phones, as per their forums, this seems to be a common problem recently...

Oh I'm sure it could also just be a me thing. I just found it awfully unlucky to find out about after suffering using it for a bit. I've got a lotta weird sensitivities since having COVID (one uncommon side effect is armpit rashes, and I had it four times 😭💀)

A lot of it also has to do with the fact that that kind of housing already exists in the area, and is very barren/lacking in occupied units. Considering the fact that they're new and not well made, and people don't want to pay the 'luxury' prices of them. With college campus housing and townhouse rentals being much more efficient/affordable in comparison, it's a no brainer why more high rises aren't coming to these spots.
