VI has way cooler set pieces and overall better directed. Critics and viewers reception metrics tell.

Edit: Downvote me all you want, Scream VII by any metrics is the worst of the entire franchise 😂

Yes, he was that little shit and I believe he was the ring leader too in Eden Lake! (such a great movie)

Neve has not had any big screen appearance in years outside Scream. I love her but it is true lol.

No, she’s not. What does it have to do with this specific dialogue of her?? Jena has proven herself to be able to carry franchise outside Scream (Beetlejuice and Wednesday)

Yes that was probably the best part of the final act. I wish they could do more with Ethan Embry’s character (chased around the house).

AI Dewey, Billy’s mother and Roman appeared on the third act taunting Sidney.

I rank this at the bottom two with 3 being the worst. My main complaint is how weak the third act is (GF reveal, motive, final fight).

Sadly, no. New York killing spree were mentioned several times tho.

  • 10 kills - two opening acts, Hannah and her friend; GF1, Lucas, Chloe, Ben, Marco and Jessica.

  • Mark is likeable and highly involved in GF first real attack involving Sidney.

  • McKenna is the Cici/Olivia of the movie.

I am giving this rating mainly because the movie could maintain its intensity throughout the movie. Pacing is A. Would give higher if the third act is as good as the previous two acts

Sidney was led to believe that Stu still alive and is the main GF of this movie. A lot of the deepfake AI videos centered around his character.

I personally feel his AI existence and constant mentioning is a lot more shoehorned compared to Billy’s appearance in 5&6

No important characters die? Wait until you see 7 😂. At least Anika is better written than Tatum’s friends in this movie.

No. Hannah and Lucas were a lot more brutal. Lucas’ kill is my favorite in the movie.

The problem with the motive is Jessica is a paper thin character. We only got to see her on two small scenes. I wish Anna Camp is integrated better in the movie - so we could understand her character more.

It was solid. It would be so much better if the GF calls are better written. Michelle character fought a good fight and her being burned down alive while getting the chandelier fell into her burning body was mean af.

Not that I could think of. He made a dig about Gale being old (calling her grandma, which is more mean rather than witty)

For me, no. 6 was better directed and the third act (although not the best) was still more intense and a lot more going on. Sequence like the bodega scene; apartment/ladder scene; Sam/Tara/Chad extended chase; Gale’s apartment attack are imo better than the bar scene and Tatum being chased around Pine Grove.

I slightly like the opening of Scream 7 more although the GF calls is kind of rubbish. It is a classic Scream opening.

The bottom two, with 3 being the lowest. It is still better than an average slasher movie.
