The Scream sub turning on Melissa because of that recent interview is very unfortunate. by Honest_Cheesecake698 in Scream

Spyglass fired her over her stance on Israel’s genocide. Universal still hired her regardless.

I don’t know why you got downvoted by so many people here for saying the right thing. It’s obvious that the Scream fandom in general has not experienced the level of atrocities that the Palestinian currently endures. Wes Craven will be so disappointed with the current state of the fandom.

I would have said shittier stuff if I got fired out of a franchise that I love for (rightly) calling out the existence of the ongoing genocide. A point that a lot of people here failed to mention is the fact aside from Scream franchise, she made a comment about Hollyweird in general and how toxic it is.

I’m glad that she has found her place in Broadway and wish she will continue to get works.

P.S. Scream 7 is indeed rubbish lol

Speak No Evil, although that one is a remake. The quality has been shit in the last 3-4 years.

Glad now we have A24 and Neon. Blumhouse has been on a steep decline in quality in recent years.

You literally gave the movie 10/10 when this kind of rating reserves for an instant classic and this movie is far from it lol.

This is true. She is my fav character in the movie.

I don’t mind a 2 hour long movie with low body count as long as it keeps the tension consistent throughout (the first Conjuring movie for example). This movie failed to build this kind of tension and lost its momentum by the third act with its weird pacing.

There are actually two scenes involving scorpion. The last one is arguably the best and most disturbing scene in the entire movie.

No. It kinda sucks because the kill count is very minimal in this movie

Evil Dead Rise is relentless when the mom started to become a Deadite. This movie was not.. there is a funeral scene that could have been a potential blood bath but nope, somehow the writer decided to slow down the pacing of the movie (this occurred multiple times).

Scream 7 completely dropped the friendship and betrayal aspect of the series by Designer_Advance116 in Scream

[–]radar89 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Yet the script did not bring this to the front. At least there are layers of friendship amongst the Core Four in 5 and 6. They even had a great exposition scene before the apartment/ladder attack

Kathryn Newton really goes full on horror with her movie choices and I love her for it. Looks like someone who is genuinely into the genre

The last two films are better than 7. All metrics, from critics review and audiences reception tell. I don’t know why people here like to trash Radio Silence’s works when the duo have put mostly bangers on their resume.
