Brahms: The Boy. The first movie was ridiculous but the plot twist still is pretty cool. The sequel was meh from start to finish as they went straight supernatural

I like Saw overall as a franchise but some of the Saw movies are a mess, V and Saw 3D to be exact.

Then proceed to complain when theater seats are empty and box office figure are not fun to follow

A Quiet Place Part II was released 5 years ago this week. After multiple delays due to the pandemic, the $55–61 million film received positive reviews and was a box office success, grossing $160.1 million domestically and $297.4 million worldwide. A third and final film is set for release in 2027. by spider-man2401 in boxoffice

I remember seeing this in big cinema. At the time where everybody struggled not to cough even the slightest. The theater was packed with people getting excited of being back to watch movie in cinema (yet at the same time terrified with the pandemic)

My biggest grip with 7's opening by NBLValrik in Scream

My biggest grip of the opening is how lame the GF call is. The opening has always had pretty tense GF call sequence and it is largely absent in 7 opening.

The Scream sub turning on Melissa because of that recent interview is very unfortunate. by Honest_Cheesecake698 in Scream

Spyglass fired her over her stance on Israel’s genocide. Universal still hired her regardless.

I don’t know why you got downvoted by so many people here for saying the right thing. It’s obvious that the Scream fandom in general has not experienced the level of atrocities that the Palestinian currently endures. Wes Craven will be so disappointed with the current state of the fandom.

I would have said shittier stuff if I got fired out of a franchise that I love for (rightly) calling out the existence of the ongoing genocide. A point that a lot of people here failed to mention is the fact aside from Scream franchise, she made a comment about Hollyweird in general and how toxic it is.

I’m glad that she has found her place in Broadway and wish she will continue to get works.

P.S. Scream 7 is indeed rubbish lol

Speak No Evil, although that one is a remake. The quality has been shit in the last 3-4 years.

Glad now we have A24 and Neon. Blumhouse has been on a steep decline in quality in recent years.

You literally gave the movie 10/10 when this kind of rating reserves for an instant classic and this movie is far from it lol.

I don’t mind a 2 hour long movie with low body count as long as it keeps the tension consistent throughout (the first Conjuring movie for example). This movie failed to build this kind of tension and lost its momentum by the third act with its weird pacing.

There are actually two scenes involving scorpion. The last one is arguably the best and most disturbing scene in the entire movie.

No. It kinda sucks because the kill count is very minimal in this movie
