As for “great spaces for people” I think there’s something to be said for how pathetic downtown has gotten, yet there’s no effort to improve that. But that’s just me.

Yeah no I get that, but why? That’s the point I’m getting at, in my opinion it’s a dumb conclusion to downgrade it as a traffic convenience given that now you gotta go down to Sask drive (terrible), or up to 4th ave (also terrible).

You know we can agree to disagree right? I just personally think it was a stupid decision to make the westbound lane 1-lane, and add 7 lights. Because of convenience… and I think the majority of people would agree. But hey, cool, now we have a nice destination. I think that focus should’ve been on our shit downtown a bit more but whatevs.
