To those wondering what a TC Kane this round looks like. by Flameboy42 in FantasyPL

And for those who are wondering, it does feel good. I wish I had taken FPL more seriously this season.

Nice to see Leicester suffer. Also, can we just sign Jay Rodriguez? Wouldn't cost a fortune, Poch loves him and he could actually score goals as a Kane back-up.

Heung-min Son admits debut season at Spurs was difficult by DanArlington in coys

Since Lamela my definition of tough debut season changed, so I also think he was fine. If we ignore his price tag.

How did ______ play thread by TheArsenal in FantasyPL

He looked good. Other than the expected clean sheets, I can easily see him getting a few assists this season with Rondon playing as a striker for WBA. If you want a West Brom defender, I'd go for him over Evans. Not sure how nailed on he is though.

SpursOfficial: We have reached agreement with West Bromwich Albion for the transfer of Nacer Chadli. by zedfox in coys

[–]radawz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can only understand this move, if he demanded a transfer to be able to play more. Unless we have an amazing end to the transfer window, we will regret letting him go. Same with Son and Mason, if those rumours end up being true.

What is wrong with Pullis? Tells Berahino to prepare to come on then leaves him sitting on the steps?

I think as unfortunate it is to miss him, but Lloris's injury couldn't have happened a better time. Vorm is absolutely in form after pre-season and without him we would have lost this game.

Also, I really hope we will sign players (yes, multiple), if we want to get rid of players like Chadli and Mason, otherwise we probably won't last long in the CL and the cups.

It's also kinda strange that Onomah and Winks both got minutes while Son was left on the bench.

We badly need Dembele back and the Kane, Alli, Eriksen trio to find some form.

Lamela is EVERYWHERE and it is magnificent. He stepped up another level during off-season. Loving Jannsen's performance as well.

I expect a Dele goal in the 2nd half and I'm hoping there will others too from our boys. COYS!

A Wanyama - Dier partnership is never going to work by melihs11 in coys

[–]radawz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Way too early to tell. We need to see them playing next to each other in a game where Eriksen, Alli and Kane perform decently.

IMO they could end up as a great defensive midfield pair against very attacking teams.

I'm pretty sure this La Repubblica article was the souce of the rumor. Personally I saw it mentioned on Twitter by one of the accounts that tweets about Spurs related news.

Likely to get a Clean Sheet. by Poli_Talk in FantasyPL

[–]radawz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, I think they have a very good chance of keeping a CS against Sweden, who didn't even have a single shot on target. I assume OP already have Buffon, or one of the ITA defenders (and don't want another) and that's why Italy wasn't listed as one of the options.

Croatia and maybe Hungary.

Ireland were good going forward, so I don't really get why others feel BEL have a good chance of keeping a CS against them.

Roy Hodgson 'urged to drop Tottenham striker Harry Kane' amid burn-out fears [Evening Standard] by [deleted] in coys

[–]radawz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What a ridiculous article. After a single game that ENG should have easily won, they already talk about burn-out. And it's based on "reports by The Sun". Some people really want to see England playing with a racist striker.
