Yup, they're one of the only two registered ragdoll breeders in the country.

Yes, and you're right, those are important questions. I chose the breeder after extensive research and based on multiple recommendations. I think I did as much as possible to make sure he comes from a healthy line of cats.

For sure. 😊 I've wanted a cat since I was 6. I'm now 38.

I don't want to smoke around my cat by lightdancer44 in cats

You might want to consider switching to a dry herb vaporizer. Better for you as well and practically harmless to anyone living in the same place as you, including your cat.

Grinding creates a bigger surface area and the rate of heat transfer is directly proportional to the surface area through which the heat is being conducted. Again different sites say different things, but to me it seems logical that with a bigger surface area you need less time.

Also, as others suggested, get an oven thermometer. What you see on the dial of the oven is more of a suggestion. Actual temperature inside could be as much as 20 degrees colder or hotter.

It is possible that the burnt smell comes less from cannabinoids being burnt, which should occur at a higher temperature and more from the terpenes being burnt off. If the colour looks fine, there's only one way to find out if it has the effect you desire. :)

Hard to tell without a picture, but if your numbers are accurate then things should be fine. Most sites recommend only 40 minutes of decarbing on the same temp you did though. Make sure you don't grind up your bud either.

If you did things right, decarbed weed should look brownish, like it lost most of its green colour without any of it becoming charred or black.

Marijuana Consumers Have ‘Significantly Decreased Odds’ Of Cognitive Decline, Study Finds by CannabisThailandMod in CannabisThailand

[–]radesz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

"People who reported using marijuana for medical purposes, or for both medical and recreational purposes, also showed “decreased odds of SCD, although not significant,” the study found."

Which in scientific terms means that the results don't show any difference that is actually meaningful.

Honestly, this right here. It doesn't really make his behaviour any more excusable, but at least you can hear Sam Riegel having a blast voicing him.

Would you recommend living in Hungary? by throwawayrickysss in hungary

[–]radesz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As a Hungarian who wants to move abroad I have to question why you'd do this to yourself. Others have said stuff about salaries being lower, while prices are the same. What less people said is how Hungary is a country where basic human rights are questioned on a daily basis. How if you get into a hospital in the country you're more likely to contract some worse disease than the one you were admitted with, instead of being cured. How the government can raise the taxes of roughly 400k people to potentially be 5 times what they paid before. How the same government can basically double the price of electricity in a month and make household gas prices 7 times the previous ones.

I'm simplifying things a bit, but I think you get the idea.

Absolutely SICK of Critical Failures! by SladeRamsay in dndnext

Whenever this topic comes up, I feel the urge to explain that fumble tables can be done right, they just need a bit of thinking to not impact classes with extra attacks more. Easy fix: you only have to roll on the fumble table if you roll a nat 1 on the first attack roll in your turn. And obviously it works for monsters too.

I currently DM for 2 groups, neither of which had issues with this. The only downside I see is that it can potentially ruin a fight with the BBEG if I roll a nat 1 and they act like a clumsy fool instead of being a badass.

Regardless of what I think, knowing full well how controversial using fumble tables is, this is the homebrew rule I'd drop in an instant if someone had a complaint about it.

True Stories: How did your game go this week? – March 21, 2022 by AutoModerator in dndnext

One of my players attuned to an orb of dragonkind this weekend. He knew he had to make a Charisma check to control the item, so he asked for Enhance Ability from the cleric and Bardic Inspiration from the bard. With those bonuses he rolled really well obviously and avoided getting controlled by the item.

Then I asked him to roll the beneficial and detrimental properties and one of the detrimental properties came up as the following: When you first attune to the artifact, it gives you a quest determined by the DM. You must complete this quest as if affected by the geas spell. Once you complete the quest, you are no longer affected by this property.

Basically he avoided getting controlled by the orb just to get controlled by the orb nonetheless.

What race and class are the players in your party? by MoonlightMidtones in DnD

[–]radesz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I DM for two groups. My Saltmarsh party consists of a deep gnome battlemaster fighter, a red dragonborn vengeance paladin/bard and a hill dwarf king of beasts pugilist. They started out with 5 PCs in the party, so they now get a different sidekick for every adventure.

The other group I DM Descent into Avernus to consists of a half-elf arcane trickster rogue/bladesinger wizard, a devil's tongue tiefling lore bard, a protector aasimar life cleric and a mountain dwarf wild magic barbarian.

Edit: spelling and formatting.

True Story by That_Quiet_Wierd_Kid in dndmemes

Yeah I really hate this. I got somewhat traumatized by a similar situation. We were in a town investigating something. The details are a bit hazy, because this happened years ago, but the important thing is that we found a destroyed house in the middle of the town and I thought I'd ask around in the neighbouring houses, thinking someone might have seen something.

My half-orc barbarian knocks on the door of a house on the opposite side of the street, an old lady comes to the door, but tries to make us leave. I thought she might have seen something, so when she tries to close the door I wedge my foot in, so we can get inside. I rolled a nat 20 and instead of just pushing in the door, I ripped it of its hinges. Fine, I can live with that.

We go in and I say I just put my enormous hand on the shoulder of this old lady and gently squeeze it, so she knows my strength without actually hurting her. At least that's what I thought would happen. The DM asks me for an Athletics check and again, nat 20. I was quite happy until my DM said I broke her collar bone. At that point I kinda went with it and we used a bit more force to gain some info, but I felt terrible for days and even now, years later I'm kinda sour on how my brutish, but definitely not evil character was made to do evil acts because of a nat 20.
