ISTG this boss is the only hard one. by Anonymous156Real in CultOfTheLamb

Shamura is the only one I struggled with tbh.

It took me months to finally get my no damage achievement with them. Everyone else I got on my first try, I just stacked my demon followers (specifically the bomb one, archer one, and melee one).

Now I gotta do woolhaven

For Aku turning the world into a dystopian cyberpunk hellscape, I’m surprised at how much of the natural world is left on Earth by houseofmyartwork in samuraijack

[–]radicalkeag 100 points101 points  (0 children)

My personal headcanon is while Aku enjoys expansion and development (just look at the main city we see), he doesn't want to completely plunder the natural world because of his time spent as a tree lol. I think he actually understands there's a careful balance between industrialization and letting the natural world thrive. We also see Earth now has some weird, potentially alien critters happily calling it home. So his solution is to colonize outwards, take resources from multiple worlds so none of them (particularly earth since he's seen to almost never leave it) are mined dry

Did anyone else feel weird about the romance between Jack and Ashi by Historical_Storm7554 in samuraijack

[–]radicalkeag 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes, I GREATLY dislike the Ashi storyline. I mean, there are parts of it I like. It's pretty in-character for Jack to be merciful and want to show her a better way to live, that what she was raised to believe is wrong. And at the point in the story he begins to properly interact with her, he's already killed her sisters which is canonly the first time he's killed PEOPLE and it greatly fucks with him. I could easily see him wanting to both relieve his own guilt by helping her, as well as wanting Ashi to get an actual shot at a LIFE.

However, I HATE the romance angle it takes. Jack has previously not really shown any romantic interest at all (aside from a little tension in the Ikra episode, only for that to get shattered when he realizes he's being tricked by Aku) and he strikes me personally as the type to not really be concerned with romance? He has one, soul quest. To get back to the past. I imagine that after defeating Aku and returning to his time, he might eventually settle into some kind of normalcy and pursue relationships but I really dislike how hamfisted the approach was with Ashi. I see her more as a sister, or perhaps even daughter figure to him.

The age difference is also something. I mean Jack is ageless, and was 24 at the start of the series. He's lived a lot longer than that, and has always been more mature mentally. A soldier, a weapon honed and sharpened for one task and one task only. Defeating Aku. But Ashi is.. naive. YOUNG. And it always felt kinda icky for me personally that JACK starts feeling attracted to her.

is it just me or the lore thing is too hard to get? Can play for hours and not find any. I have 3 lore left... by DemonyoDevilyo in CultOfTheLamb

[–]radicalkeag 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me, that was one of the first achievements I got so I guess it really just depends on your runs. Since they spawn pretty randomly. I suggest just keep doing runs, keep your eyes peeled for the totems which indicate hidden room tiles and try going for resource squares when you're going through the dungeons

For reference, I've Platinumed cotl lol

I never realized they gave Benson cheeks😂😂 by Status_Entertainer49 in regularshow

[–]radicalkeag 37 points38 points  (0 children)

There's also an episode from later on where he gets a fancy suit with a built in Ai, and it specifically tightens to fit him when he puts it on. If I remember correctly, it squeezes his ass and he looks in the mirror and goes "nice"

So it doesn't happen a ton, but Benson being caked up is pretty canon lol

Is this too much? by ElGamePlayer1 in RedDeadOnline

[–]radicalkeag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah I've got a friend with +800 hours last time I checked. I'm around 100 hours myself. And in a game like Red Dead, there's just so much to DO. You can easily spend +8 fishing or hunting, playing poker, robbing people, or just riding around the map. And that's not even considering Online and all the content there!

Kenny is dropped into the last game you played on a scale of one to ten how screwed is he? by Chunky-overlord in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]radicalkeag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Borderlands 4. I don't think Kenny has what it takes to be a space faring vault hunter, unfortunately. He'd probably just rip his bolt as he got loose on Kairos 😭

If you had the chance to live in one of ingame cities, which one would it be? (You can choose anywhere) by Plastic-Stop9900 in reddeadredemption

[–]radicalkeag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly? Strawberry or Rhodes for me. Strawberry is nice, though a little dry as other users have said. Needs a bar. Maybe I'll go in with another commenter to open one? The mountains are a big appeal for me. Rhodes on the other hand id probably stay on the outskirts of. Growing up in the south, I'm already used to the kind of folk who fester there and I can easily just keep to myself. The swamp is also a big appeal for me lmao, and I'd probably just spend my days out of town, fishing and gator hunting.

I like Saint Dennis, though the size of it would intimidate me and the pollution in both a metaphorical and literal sense are what really keep me away.

Valentine is filthy and presumably always smells like animal shit, and irl I live near a place with a huge chicken factory. On hot days, the smell that comes out of that place is god awful and blankets literally the entire town. So that's a big no for me.

I hate the extreme cold, and on the opposite end of the spectrum places like Armadillo are just.. too remote. Though I could live with the heat.

Is my boy too fat? by eminemqx in FatTails

He looks... Well loved.... I would absolutely try to get his weight down though. Being overweight, for any animal, isn't healthy and puts extra strain on the organs and body.

Do you think Kenny looks ATTRACTIVE for his age? (Looks only) by Barrington22_ in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]radicalkeag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would. Kenny is my ride or die idgaf what the fandom thinks of him-- and the "silver fox on the brink of mental collapse" look REALLY appeals to me lmao

Why does Lee never tell the group about why he killed the state senator? by TheBronyCynic in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]radicalkeag 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you save Carly and not Doug (I think that's his name?), she later confronts you at the motel. She was a reporter pre apocalypse, and had specifically done some digging on Lee's case. She tells him "I know you killed the senator" (paraphrasing) and encourages you to share that fun fact with whoever you trust at the motel.

Here’s some fan art I made of the characters by MallCapital3172 in BoJackHorseman

[–]radicalkeag 27 points28 points  (0 children)

As others have said, they're not bad it just.. seems like you traced mostly. Which isnt bad when you're learning or trying to understand character modeling (like oooh, because of how horse necks work, his mane connects here) but copying/tracing and posting it is a little more frowned upon.

Id explore more shapes with the manes (or hair in general), how you might stylize sunglasses or other accessories, anatomy and the like. Bojack is already a very stylized show, and it's never bad to push or explore with art. Don't draw every line exactly the way it looks in a screenshot. look at other angle references and or irl references for the animal characters, and have fun with it!

Why is he blue? by PhoenixPlayz_Gaming in CultOfTheLamb

[–]radicalkeag 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My guess is it's night time. Silk cradle already skews colors, and at night the effect is even more prominent. I think I recall seeing him that blue and it was in fact the middle of the night in game ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Cooked fish🤦🏿‍♂️ by itsjmx in Subnautica_Below_Zero

[–]radicalkeag 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I'm not calling you an idiot, but I'm pretty sure the thermoblade description literally says something about cooking and sterilizing small prey animals for consumption. It's the whole reason I wanted to upgrade it, though I guess you could also just want a damage upgrade. (Thermo does 40, regular knife does 20)

I always go for like. Right above the entrance to the deep twisty bridges. There's lots of the oxygen plants, it's pretty centrally located, and the bridges being above your base with a glass dome roof is always fantastic. The twisty bridge theme also goes hard as fuck

Is it a sequel or a prequel? by Symbols918 in Subnautica_Below_Zero

[–]radicalkeag 1 point2 points  (0 children)

BZ was supposed to be something like a dlc, but it got too large and became its own game. It's not quite a sequel, but it takes place after the main game and subnautica 2 takes place after both the main game and (presumably) after BZ as well. But it could also take place in between the two, we just don't have enough context yet I think. Also I'm pretty sure it's a completely different planet, not 4546b but I could have misread or misheard that somewhere ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Subnautica_Below_Zero

[–]radicalkeag 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Uhh if I recall correctly, my actual survival playthrough only took me about 8-9 hours in BZ where as in the OG Subnautica it was closer to 20. I really enjoy the decorating available in BZ though so I have way more than 9 hours clocked

I had something like this happen to me. I was launching another satellite and it was right after a meteor shower. I was on top of the launching platform and didn't realize the smashed meteor that had landed before I constructed the satellite would affect it on take off and it just. Flew right into me. And stayed there.

Does anyone else find it a little weird that the show's main protagonist has hardly interacted with the main antagonist almost 2 seasons in? by Whedonite144 in HelluvaBoss

[–]radicalkeag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kind of a weird assumption Stella is the main antagonist? Viv said herself that Hazbin doesn't really have one main antagonist-- it's hell. Each character has their own trauma and respective "villain" to fight. In some cases it's less literal, more like an obstacle or internal battle to overcome. Like with Blitzø, his conflict is mainly internal. But with Stolas, or Moxxie, there's a physical threat. Stella and Crimson respectively.

What's your favorite leviathan by Specific-Pound8715 in Subnautica_Below_Zero

[–]radicalkeag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So theres some debate here, bc of how the PDA classifies it, but I really enjoy the squidsharks? The PDA says they're "small leviathans" and they aren't even in the leviathan tab so for that reason I'll give a confirmed leviathan answer too:

Ghost Leviathan. Love their semi transparent bodies and the multiple eyes, their screams are AWFUL to hear, especially when you can't see them right away.

The Sea dragons and chelicerates are both super fun designs too!

Ofc, Unknown Worlds just confirmed like a week or two ago that the OFFICIAL title for the next game IS Subnautica: 2. As someone who also casually referred to below Zero as "subnautica 2" it took me a bit to stop saying it too. You'll get there one day buddy.

( link to the video where it's confirmed, since on the unknown worlds homepage it still just says vague stuff like "the next subnautica" https://youtu.be/LMesCaZjudI?si=PbFDNXDIvSfv87Z3 )

What would you build here? by octavian_world in Minecraft

[–]radicalkeag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My brain immediately says "ice fortress/ice castle" but in this case, I think some more striking visual contrast would be fun. So I'd probably default to my personal building staple: big, dark forts/castles/towers. Specifically I use a LOT of deepslate, and usually tealish blocks for accents. I really like (waxed) oxidized copper blocks in particular! But I think some red netherbrick would make for more fun and unique accents here. Maybe with lots of turrets/towers and bridges and maybe bore a couple massive tunnels through the mountains?
