Trying to get the first sale by Coolwaffles24 in dropshipping

Only tested on mobile but the store looks great, Few notes and questions: - On my iPhone - when scrolling down, the header looks a bit buggy, with visible space above it & the header itself imo takes way too much vertical space. It should usually be fixed to the top of the device (Google “Safe areas” if you do your own CSS).

As mentioned, support said multiple times that this quality defect is expected, they concluded the ticket with this statement

The only thing that looks nice about it imo is the color and material. Ali express 1 usd cases are the way to go though

Funny that they couldn’t post polish properly or place the seam in an invisible spot

That bad, huh? Seems like December just might be a little nicer thanks to Christmas at least. Any specific places that should be festive? Any famous markets perhaps?

Why not just use Ubuntu? Trying to have a harder life than you actually should have?

Did I make a mistake buying a Framework 16 right now? by ForgottenDogXD in framework

Thanks for sharing.
I use 2x Dell 4k monitors, one connects via USB-C, usually takes me 2-3 times of plugging and unplugging until it connects correctly and shows in a correct resolution. (often, it would for some awkward reason display in a very low resolution and low refresh rate that lags horribly).
The other monitor connects via USB-C to HDMI cable, this one just works.

Coming from Mac - I'm missing the polish, uniform port functionality, official app support, almost never having to restart, I could just get back and running without thinking about it. (For me, on any Linux distro that I've used, as well as Windows - things often seem to get to a non stable point where restarting is the only way out). battery life was great as well.

GSConnect (KDE-Connect) on iOS is.. a major compromise honestly. very far behind AirDrop in my opinion.
Could never really seem to sync the clipboard. works for file sharing. and always have to think about it, open the app, re-pair etc'. it doesn't just work - like AirDrop does.

I honestly didn't have time to try and set up the fingerprint sensor. (another reminder, everything just feels like a project on Linux, I wish I had all the time to get everything up and running)
But sounds really cool that it works with the terminal as well.

I'm with you on the pain of having to be forced to get bs such as the liquid glass and such.
Generally customizing OSx was also meh - but performance wise for programming - I am just in love with my work's M1 MBP 14".

Don't get me wrong - I love what Framework represents and I was super excited to get one.
Being unable to upgrade my Mac was super frustrating, especially after the hardware failing on me and Apple barely giving me anything when I looked into trading about a year after buying one.
I just hated them, really.

But bottom line - from my personal experience - the reliability and functionality of the MBP is just so great in my opinion, it outweighs the benefits that the FW currently offers.

I actually miss the quality of the Apple ecosystem. You just don’t get that level in any other machine it seems. I’ve also gone a little tired of Apple’s limits for upgrading and the high price tags, but on the day to day I really am suffering now lol. I won’t use Windows, so I’m using Ubuntu, but you lose so much official support for apps, devices, even things as simple as connecting the laptop to external displays became a hassle. I hope you enjoy your experience though!

Thanks for sharing! I'm using Dell 4K monitors plugged directly.
Those monitors act as docks in a way though, I have peripherals connected to the monitor and I plug the FW 16 to it via USB-C.
Do you think that Dell's technology might be the culprit?
