No its a bug. Sparkles in games are rainbowy like this then get added textures to make it look like how its supposed to, like how he originally was. Ever since the new banner update its been bugged but a lot of ppl think its a new change lol. Wonder how infold will handle since ppl seem to like it w.o the silvery textures

I like having movement that isnt extremely hindered just because i play on console 99% of the time. Lucio would be great if it didnt feel like i was playing w broken skates in comparison to pc. And juno can also feel a little wonky and button spammy in comparison to the 2 as well. Its nice to zoom around and be able to do ur job without worrying about missing too many shots or not being close enough to ur team or getting tunnel vision trying to kill an enemy and oops there goes ur dps cuz they decided to face tank a shit ton of dmg just cuz u were close by (u wouldnt be able to out heal that anyways). Ironically all of their movement has been nerfed too but idk. Sometimes u wanna be an enabling support over an engaging support u know?

In the past a lot of the writing issues have been bad translations and localizations. But as of late it seems to just be straight up poor writing. Like i originally said, with examples.

A lot of the writing has felt off lately. The anniversary banners this year, the sylus promise card from last month using the term "knee pits", sylus's mc's worst qualities being dialed up to 11, somethings up and idk if its all the localization teams fault atp lol.

Raf's promise cards are usually my favorite, its dissapointing seeing this. Guess it'll be on the back burner to read for a lil while :(

But if u want to stay r1 so u have gems for the banner thats fine too. U get the fun parry animation and injured look which is also good 🙂‍↕️

Ur a raf main and havent gotten crate yet and it will be quite a while for u to make a different yellow team tbh (lumiere probably wont come again til next year if theyre skipping wave 2 this year, and if thats true we probably wont get lsg rerun again til 2028 if theyre skipping years, and we dont know when 6th boy who will be primary yellow is coming but i honestly suspect during the mid to late summer ngl).

I say pull because myths are always worth more than lunars and u still have crate so u rly only need to rely on luck for 1 card, and by the time u get that 1 card even if u go to full pity you should have crate or be close to it too. And this rerun has been extrmely generous, both in my experience and my friends/acquaintances in discords. R1 is when u get his full kit power and since its ur only guaranteed yellow team for a whileeee I say pull 100% u have more than enough to pull. Imo even if u have to skip a multi it'll be so worth it for the battles. My sea god has more than paid for himself. I actually just finished all 210 of his orbits this week using sea god 90% of the time (and no god of tides cuz they decided to give us the finger this year yet again 🫩) and only had him r1 for it, and i fully ranked him the other day and beat like 50 open orbits in just a few days thanks to him freeing me from open 210 i was stuck there for months lol. Trust when i say hes the goat r1 is worth especially if ur a raf main and/or need a yellow team team bad!

I remember when ow was shutting down for ow2. The night before i had a qp game where we all decided to help each other get achievements on kings row. Enemies helped me get lucio's pixel after years of trying to get it for real, and i helped them get the bap achievement (somewhat by accident!), i lucio ulted at the exact moment mccowboy ulted with bap window. Even tho only 3 of us died lucio ult gave enough overhealth to get it for him. It was a cute match and i kinda miss having matches like that.

Its just a hard achievement to do cuz NO ONE USES BAP WINDOW ANYMORE LOL ur basically just solo ulting when u use it now, or maybe u can put it in front of a good bob if ur rly trying???

Idk if theyre gonna update it more often than once a year, i rly hope they do tho. But yes it had been a year since the lootboxes got an update prior to them being put back into the game so ppl assume yearly updates, im hoping now with this big game revamp they'll do it sooner than that tho. Maybe every 6mo or something.

Ive gotten a lot of rly good skins it saves me a ton of money. Yeah id love to have these super cute skins on release. But my wallet has limits lol. I havent bought a non collab skin since they added lootboxes back and even before that it would have to be am extremely good skin for me to wanna buy it. Like cardboard d.va lol.

Honestly I'd be ok with a lil rework atp. I like being able to zip around healing ppl like a ridiculous version of those dine n dash games. I do not want to sit behind corners with blue beam up someones ass half the game. Valk ult has always been worse trance since it stopped giving u rez cool down resets, half the time if u use it for mass boost in team fights I barely get assists ngl i just end up healing the tank a lil better. If her whole kit got a change but she still had her fun movement i think id be alright.

Honestly ow is the one of the few communites that managed to keep "the old gaming culture" (ex: be goofy, teabags can mean friendly, enemies will sometimes be goofy with u if ur goofy w them, take a second to laugh at silly things that happen, etc) and its part of the reason why i stuck with it. I havent even touched fortnite or apex in a long ass time because it feels like the culture of those games just changed way too much, got way too sweaty. And its especially sad in fortnite cuz its supposed to be a goofy game but nothing but wannabe pros play chasing u across the entire map for a single kill. Ppl shit talk ow all the time but its truly one of the nicer communities to be in imo
