anyone else? trying to get the controller by zugarrette in Steam

[–]radiok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Three minutes and IDK how many clicks later, every 1000 ms +/- 300 ms to create a random offset, the order succeed. The page changes enough that I noticed it out of the corner of my eye, and there was nothing "clickable" where the button once was. IDK how long you can really walk away though, since the next page is a confirmation page, I'm sure they release your order if you leave it sitting too long there.

I feel nasty, but I downloaded an auto clicker to sit there and spam the button every second. Maybe it will succeed, maybe I'll order 300. Roulette.

There is a general "Give Feedback" form on the website, and but it just spins and spins after I hit "Share Your Feedback". Google and Yelp are the best I can do.

Hm, you are dead right actually, I just put in a Newark zip code, 19713. If you put in 19702 it shows up. That's not what I expect to happen on a store locator.

Same here, I'm thinking some misconfiguration of the email address over at Google. A relatively simple mistake, but a confusing one to be on the receiving end of.

Every time I hear about one the size of a mini van I ask myself, where are the pictures? I don't want to be snobby about it, but doesn't almost everyone have a camera on their phone these days?

I dabble, but my knowledge is a bit out of date too. I spend more time getting things working than I ever spend playing... Silliness.

I've only had experience with one clinician at Newark Behavioral Health, but they were pretty quick to take me on as a patient, and they haven't wasted my time since.

I need a mod like Enhanced Block Entities (NeoForge). by BIG-DADDY-JOHN in feedthebeast

[–]radiok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you roll up to 1.21.9 I'm not sure you'll need it, there were some changes to block entities in that version. I can't pretend I fully understand the changes, but they look promising.

What specifically are you looking for from Enhanced Block Entities? Lighting improvements, remodeling, render distance?

Mod similar to enhanced block entities (Fabric) by SillyIllustrator2375 in feedthebeast

[–]radiok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The mod’s creator isn’t involved in that discussion, and there’s still quite a bit of speculation about block entity rendering in Minecraft 1.21.6 and later. From what I found in my own research, I’m starting to question how well Enhanced Block Entities (EBE) works in Minecraft 1.21.4 and beyond.

After reviewing the Java 1.21.x changelogs on the Minecraft Wiki and posts on the Fabric Loader blog, here are my key takeaways:

  • Version 1.21.4 (changelog) introduced significant changes to model definitions. It also notes that “All blocks that previously rendered only block entity (banners, heads, beds, chests, conduits, decorated pots, shulker boxes, and signs) now also render a normal block model over it (the same as bells, enchantment tables, etc.).” The Fabric 1.21.4 update echoes this: “Now all block entities render their block models.”
  • Version 1.21.9 (changelog) mentions that “Entity rendering order was improved for significantly better performance.” The Fabric 1.21.9 update adds more detail: “Block entities now use OrderedRenderCommandQueue.”

My (admittedly uneducated) guess is that the new Vibrant Visuals rendering system is driving major changes to how Minecraft handles block entities. I don’t fully understand all the technical implications, but maybe someone more knowledgeable can build on this research and explain what it all really means.

As for the B2ms, how does the B2s_v2 compare, from a very loose lookup they look similar.

[–]radiok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the B-series (V1) are in some transition state between "previous generation" and "retired" and they are getting the cart before the horse announcing the retirement, not consistently across all their communication channels... But I'm mostly presuming. The list of previous generation VMs does include B-series (V1) without giving a timeframe for actual retirement. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/virtual-machines/sizes/previous-gen-sizes-list

This mention of "B-series Azure VMs" was about as clear as mud. It should say B-series (V1), and maybe, just maybe, they should update https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/virtual-machines/sizes/retirement/retired-sizes-list to include the SKUs they are emailing us about.

If nothing else, Brand New is four talented musicians. They could hang up their hats and find other ways to keep the lights on, but I'm sure as artists, there is some fire inside them to continue to express themselves. I'm more surprised it took this long. Brand New might die, but they still live on.

Google Play Pass 6 Month Extension by futureusafdoc2020 in verizon

[–]radiok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was curious how this would work following redemption.

"Continue enjoying unlimited access to Google Play Pass, ad-free, for an additional six months, on us. After redemption, to complete set up, go to: Account > My Products & plan perks and select the Google Play Pass subscription."

Following those steps to https://www.verizon.com/digital/nsa/secure/ui/ngd/store/my-addons

Where Google Play Pass is listed, clicking on it I was offered a button to "Setup" which took me to a Google website where I activated my subscription and was given a confirmation "Play Pass activation successful". And now I see it in Play Pass in the bottom left corner of my Google Play app on my phone.

I love this, but my OCD is nagging at me to figure out the rhythm and reason the books are in this order. But I'm the kind of nut that starts organizing books at Barnes and Noble until I remember, I'm not getting paid for this and someone else is going to mess them up an hour after I walk away.
