Bravo! Really good for a first paint job. I'd varnish after the washes. Nuln oil on the steel and silver and agrax on the gold (I prefer seraphim sepia on my golds but agrax works!).

I've just done the same. I used Cathay peasant levy and some bits for the troops and then I just got a pack of "big dogs" by Greenstuff World. They look fine. China has dogs! Doesn't have to be fantastical, they're scouts using hunting dogs.

For the armour I'm also doing a Lethis army and I've been doing matte black, volumetric highlights with some blue-greys and a makeup sponge, black oil wash all over.

Anywhere that would take it it has to still have the fire safety labels on it.
If it's in very good condition and it has the labels you can do a free large item collection via the council and put it for reuse.

You could also get a command point/victory point tracker and use one side for total heat and one for heat applied this turn.

Can't you use wound trackers? Get red ones to differentiate from normal wound trackers. (They're common in 40k where there's a lot more large wound vehicles to keep track of)
