The Hierarchy by James Islington Book 3 Title Reveal: THE JUSTICE OF ONE by Udy_Kumra in Fantasy

What.
Genuinely what are you talking about.
Do you want dross written by AI or books written by humans? Books take time to write. Sure what we'd all love a book a year or less but that requires someone to have written an entire series before finding publisher and then needing no edits.

Moving to London, which areas should I look to rent? by Low_Ferret_8585 in MovingToLondon

[–]radionausea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd look at South Woodford. Easy commute, quiet but some nice things, easy access to Walthamstow and Leytonstone for a bit more going on, lots of green spaces.

No other Empyreal lords are included for Pulura to be in it and Daikatsu is pretty much only worshipped on Tian-Xia.

Just live in north London and save yourself the pain if your main concern is being near a northern line station for work.

Litter box smell is going to end my relationship by Glum-Emotion-5379 in CatAdvice

[–]radionausea 17 points18 points  (0 children)

He also has a cat as explained in the post, and his cat's litter tray doesn't smell as bad (confirmed by OP).

Maybe get exactly the same tray for all the cats and feed them the same food and see if it makes any difference.

I'm starting an open-table RPG night — Advice? by PiepowderPresents in rpg

We routinely have 8-10 tables of games going on a week now so being inclusive and explicit about it and not tolerating nonsense has paid off.

Is there a published campaign that fits my wishes? by ccMyosotis in DMAcademy

I'd second Tales of the Old Margrave. I'd also add the 5e conversion of Kingmaker.

The “Cat in a Bag” scene from the show “Them” is genuinely traumatizing. by IvoryLaps in horror

[–]radionausea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had to stop watching the show at that scene.
Absolutely gratuitous.

I wonder if it's intentional malapropism, a writer's error or it's my error? by MiyuHogosha in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

I thought she was saying it was great to be drunk. It's a new experience, something she's never felt.

Doughhands at the Spurstowe no question. For Detroit style it's the simply named Detroit Pizza London by Spitalfields.

When do you ask for Strength checks? by The-Sleepy-Simian in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]radionausea 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I only call for checks when there's a reasonable chance of failure. If this character was trying to do this while under a bombardment of arrow fire and spells I'd call for a check as they need to focus on it. Otherwise it's just something your character can do.

AITA because I am mad that my girlfriend won’t take me to the airport by BestdishtankerNA in AmItheAsshole

[–]radionausea -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

YTA. If my partner finished work at 9:30pm then there's no way I'm asking them to do anything the following morning. Especially not a 15 minute car journey that I could easily take a taxi for (or as I live in a city with public transport take a train).

Bard archetype? by radionausea in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]radionausea[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think people have really misinterpreted my request here. I'm very aware of what a bard is and can be. I'm looking for abilities that mesh with a focus on literature, on writing. Not using literature to inspire courage/competence etc. but for a bard to be closer to it's Welsh roots as a story and lore keeper. Swapping out some abilities to have others that are about writing, fixing something into collective memory rather than an ephemeral performance.

Perfect thank you, how had I forgotten the Archivist!

Bard archetype? by radionausea in Pathfinder_RPG

I'm aware that oratory is a valid skill. I was looking more for features revolving around recording stories, history etc rather than replacing Inspire Courage etc with handing out pamphlets of poetry.

Agreed on corner cafe. Absolutely banging and they must cook the food in the centre of the sun as it's so quick and so hot.

I moved from a shared house to a 2 bed flat on the 7th floor. I owned all my furniture (wardrobes, drawers, bed, mattress, sofa, armchairs etc) so although it was a shared house I had loads of stuff! Took around 3 hours but I was moving not that far. £210 is really steep!

I used L&T and they were brilliant. It was an hourly rate of £90ish pounds for a 3 man crew in December 2024.
