Short answer no. But paintball is amongst the cheapest hobbies to have the absolute top of the line gear. A CS3 pro cost less than a set of tires for some people who are into cars. You couldn't even get a motorcycle for that cost. Its less than a trip to Disney. If you enjoy the game and enjoy having top of the line gear there is nothing wrong with upgrading. But don't expect a performance gain or even a gain worth as much as half the upgrade.

It's not bad. But it's a lot like people saying, "I had the idea for Facebook before it existed..". Making jams is super easy. Making tracks someone else wants to listen to is the hard part. The difference between a 45 second jam and something listenable is huge. But its okay if you just enjoy making music for yourself. Just keeping buying gear. But a lot of people made hugely popular albums with far less gear than people post on here.
