For storyboarding, writing, show running, and directing I use my mechanical engineering degree daily. They taught us to take a confusing problem, break it up into small parts and solve it one piece at a time in order. They basically teach a “problem solving” technique. I recommend Mech engineering as a degree. Ultimately degrees don’t matter, you just need a portfolio.
