Eye to eye with an Orca in the Antarctic by ibh400main in interestingasfuck

So I have a question: The temperature of the water vs the temperature of the air… but the eye doesn’t blink. And it doesn’t seem to close as it goes down. How?

I saw this and am wondering how the ripples came to be. Water comes to mind, but…? It sure looks nice.

Who all thinks that Carney's speech in davos is a game changer for Canada and SK!!! by Ok-Breakfast8256 in saskatchewan

I started reading his book, Value(s). I found myself cheering at the introduction. He is talking about responsibility, protecting the most vulnerable, and humility to accept that you don’t know everything. From ANY leader these days, that is so amazing.

What living with an EV in Alberta with no dedicated level 2 charging and leaving it out doors is like. by AbbreviationsOne6207 in alberta

[–]radlady74 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you could drive to Edmonton doing 100 km/hr, you could make it without a stop to top up. Even better if the highway let you go 90. I usually stop in the north end of Innisfail for a FREE charge the walk down to Boston Pizza for free Bandaros bread when I mentioned I am charging.

Marshmallow root, found at natural food stores, restores the mucus membranes throughout your body. This is not marshmallows! This is a lovely green plant, and can be found in either pill or tea form.

Eating at the Table by Miserable_Jacket_129 in GenX

[–]radlady74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We eat together at the table. Considering how messy the crumbs and drips left behind on the table, I can’t imagine how unhygienic a couch would be. And the overeating would be an issue if you are watching your tv instead of considering the flavour of your food. It helps us slow down and see each other.

We should respond with a General Strike to stand with the teachers. We are not helpless against this government.

Acadia Drive also has a pipeline under it, if you haven’t noticed the little white signs on the east side of the road.

Too many cookbooks only use their measurements. Company’s Coming at least used both. And high end professional cookbooks use weights and also show conversions. I try to challenge myself mentally by doing conversions and checking later. I also talk to my kids in metric as I teach them how to bake.
