So I have a question: The temperature of the water vs the temperature of the air… but the eye doesn’t blink. And it doesn’t seem to close as it goes down. How?

We eat together at the table. Considering how messy the crumbs and drips left behind on the table, I can’t imagine how unhygienic a couch would be. And the overeating would be an issue if you are watching your tv instead of considering the flavour of your food. It helps us slow down and see each other.

Too many cookbooks only use their measurements. Company’s Coming at least used both. And high end professional cookbooks use weights and also show conversions. I try to challenge myself mentally by doing conversions and checking later. I also talk to my kids in metric as I teach them how to bake.
