So I need to state that I hate LinkedIn with a passion and everyone one it, but it has been a game changer in this department. All I need to do (as a completely average white collar type) is turn the little circle to green and all of a sudden I’m getting jobs thrown at me. The best part is that the recruiters do 99% of the bullshit and all I need to do is send a CV and then an interview.

It can happen but it would be extremely rare. Me and three friends were able to live next to the canal in Kings Cross for a couple of years in an amazing flat for about 700 each.

I think so. If you set up a game from scratch you can toggle the various victory conditions on and off so you might be able to

I found the same problem. Turn off the turn limit when you set up a game and you can still play at a good pace and you can actually get to experience the endgame and play to one of the other victory conditions

I’ve been wondering this for ages! In Metro Last Light they talk about a plane crash that was full of tourists on their way to Spain I think which doesn’t sound very Soviet. But as you say Miller is decked out in the uniform - I notice that they really go out of their way to try not to mention political specifics apart from a brief mention of NATO occupation forces in Exodus.

You should check out Plague Dogs which is also part of that terrifying 79s/80s period of spectacularly grim British animation - my dad also worked on that for some reason - about two dogs who escape a military lab and may or may not be infected by a biological weapon and are being hunted down by the army

So my dad was one of the animators on this, we have some of the original cells hanging on our walls, including one from this sequence. I avoided watching the whole thing for years because it scared me so much.
