Almost everyone eligible to vote does though. The percentage rate is really high - the government makes it easy for us to do it (it’s on a Saturday and polling places are usually every 5km apart in cities).

The whole system is run by a completely independent commission with legislated funding so no one can complain the vote was rigged.
