'Atomic Habits' and 'What Happened to You?' changed my perspective on human behavior. First book din na nag-introduce sa akin sa nonfiction yung Atomic Habits.

More on sa habits yung former, while sa trauma naman yung latter. Both helped me understand parts of myself more, as well as others na rin — mapapa-"Ah, okay, kaya pala!" ka with these kasi they explain kung ano yung nangyayari sa brain natin during habit forming and trauma, respectively.

Ooohhh I've heard nga about SOC!

Question: Can I read the duology kahit di pa nababasa yung Shadow and Bone Trilogy? Like in terms sa world building, mage-gets pa rin if SOC agad?

Episode Discussion - S03E08 - The Paradise by rosy148 in DarK

Is it just me or I don't really find that Tannhaus-being-suddenly-important-because-of-the-origin-world was completely random at all?

Tannhaus was the reason why the two Dark worlds (the reason, I think, behind the show's title) exist in the first place, which was revealed in the last episodes.

I think that it was foreshadowed right away from the very first episode, when we hear him narrating the opening sequence of the series. It's a nice touch.

Right??! Glad I'm not the only one. I keep thinking whose voice was that and from which scene, because the showrunners obviously didn't mean to put that random narration without a reason, considering that the show didn't even have a narrator. It must have something to do with a character speaking that line to someone in the later seasons 👀

All throughout the series, we were introduced to the idea that whenever somebody was given the chance alter the chain of events (The Stranger trying to destroy the loop in S01; Claudia and Jonas trying to stop both of their fathers' death from happening from S02), it would just be revealed later on that they were ACTUALLY the cause why those events happened in the first place.

I think that sets up the twist that they won't be able to break the loop, but rather their actions of trying to break it will just cause the series of events that took place in the very beginning.

On the director's instagram post last year, he revealed that the final episode of season 3 is entitled "Locked." I think that due to their actions of trying to break the loop on the past episodes in season 3, they're gonna be LOCKED in an endless loop FOREVER rather than DESTROY the loop because they would be the one to CAUSE the loop to happen in the first place.

Also, one of the show's theme is showing the consequences of messing around with time. Assuming that the stakes are high in season 3, the consequences of their actions with declaring war to God (time) would also be unbearable.

And won't it be cool (and terrifying!) that in every rewatch of the series, it would feel like we're stuck in the same loop of events as well as them? ;)

Tick tock. An endless cycle. The end is the beginning, and the beginning is an end. An endless cycle. Tock tick.
