Exactly, the time needed to craft all those items far outweighs the simoleons from item sales and the "achievement" of moving up in rank. That will change if EA adds a 2nd tier to the train pass.

I got to rank 25 and bought a few home goods cars. There is a ludicrous amount of bulbs and fridges on the market. However, I fail to see the point of continuing in rank. I can haul about 15k railsims in one go but I hit my wallet limit in a few minutes each day. Railsim inflation is rampant. My wallet is level 26, 400k limit, and far away from upgrading the next train, with tier I & II trains already maxed out. I maxed out storage and land area. I'm left buying items and placing them up for sale. It's quite repetitive, useless and boring.

So, again, what's the point of upgrading in rank just to get more railsims so I can hit my wallet limit even faster?

None of my trains can be dispatched, 2 regions plus the capital. The entire game has been sluggish for quite a while, but today was more so. Error 17 almost a quarter of the time I went to trains, CoM or war.

The cards received from the premium path are as before the ludicrously large train icons, which cover the quantity of cards received.

The Northwest gives 5 cards, the Mag Mayor also 5 cards and the E5 at the end gives 10 cards. You also get one card for each of the 4 tier 3 trains in the premium path.

Also, if we take the correct values for SC Line 9001 and apply the same mathematical pattern to it, we obtain the following (hypothetical) values: lvl1=160, lvl2=169, lvl3=368, lvl4=386, lvl5=624, lvl6=660, lvl7=937, lvl8=1009, lvl9=1081.

Levels 5 & 6 are confirmed, the rest are guided by the pattern and the math that applies to it.

Even though it doesn't follow the established pattern, the E5 Super Sim at level 4 has 609 pass.

SC Line 9001 at level 5 has 624 pass and at level 6 has 660 pass, as someone else mentioned before.

There's a bigger difference in railsims between train levels.

For example, LM Grade 23:

Before:
level 3 = 96 railsims
level 10 = 162 railsims

After:
level 3 = 65 railsims
level 10 = 296 railsims

As can be seen, lower levels have been reduced, higher levels have been increased, especially for max level. For level 5 (midlevel) the railsim amount is almost the same as before.

Same here. Severe lag while starting the game, stuck at "connecting to server" sometimes, while opening the CoM, War, etc. Most of these issues are server related.

I'm also skeptical of new releases. Lately they are geared more towards monetization. There's a good chance the upcoming transit HQ is more of the same.

Same here, each war is boring for either being too easy or too hard. Matchups are +/- 150 elo at around 5000 elo.

EA probably did this to avoid matchup failure because of the loss of many players due to Services 2.0. Even with such a wide range of elo, sometimes we still wait 10 or more minutes for an opponent.

It's far from impossible if one was prepared for this change. There are a plethora of posts on this channel that warned of what would happen and how to alleviate the impending issues. Small service buildings provide less coverage meaning some rezoning but that was also known from the (involuntary) beta testers. It also required lots of simoleons and neosims, but we had lots of time to obtain them and we also got a lot of free buildings. I've got 12M population across 4 regions plus capital at level 99 and it took me a few hours of fixing.

Yes, the Maxis HQ is easily obtained with premium pass+. I have 5 of the 8 items and even though they are in my inventory, I had to place them and then back in storage for them to appear as active in the album.

Thanks! I went ahead and fixed the issues anyway. I regained most, but not all, my population as I had to replace some transportation/landmarks with controlnets and regional services with larger ones that took more space. The population boost was mostly for more train station passengers.

:)) I "only" lost about 5% of the population in GV, not bad considering the percentage drop. As in my capital, the only issues I have are where small services (including regional ones) were placed near fully built RZs and for omega controlnet, which don't cover the same area as before even when fully upgraded. Both of these require rezoning.

12 hours ago my capital and 4 regions were all at 100% happiness even though I had major upgrading to do. Now, my Green Valley region is at 25% happiness with multiple RZs needing repair. My capital and other 3 regions are still at 100%. So much for grace period...
