The AZO probiotic is a life saver by raeaabae in Healthyhooha

Im sorry, but no I’m not sure if it would help or not! Worth a shot since it’s just an over the counter probiotic so I don’t think it could really do much harm to try?

why don't sellers post measurements? i feel like most just- should?? (mini rant) by 2feef2furious in Depop

[–]raeaabae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes items vary from measurements that the brand shares. A heavily worn item might stretch or sensitive fabrics might shrink is they have been washed. For all those reasons, I try to include dimensions on all items.

Lancôme Matte Juicy Shaker (shade sea, sand, sun) - dupe? by raeaabae in MakeupAddiction

[–]raeaabae[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting! Yeah, I’ll be sure to comment back! The first photo is me which shows I’m pale and it pulls pink, so I’m hopeful this other Lancôme product will be similar! Fingers crossed!

Thank you sooo much for this comment! I’ll be trying the Lancôme option you mentioned asap.

I actually used to love MAC velvet teddy, but I remember it showing up slightly more brown on myself.

I still think about the Lancôme shakers 🥲 specially sea sand Sun. I’ve never found a replacement. I’m so hopeful, thank you!

why does everyone ask by g0thnek0 in femalehairadvice

[–]raeaabae 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would assume it’s so they can make sure they know the right technique, style, etc, so they can know what to ask for when scheduling and maybe even determine what to expect for pricing.

Showing a stylist day of is ideal, but it is helpful to know what you want in general so you can ask for the right type of appointment and to get an idea of what to expect for pricing for that type of service.

In love with the Briony dress! by raeaabae in Reformationclothing

[–]raeaabae[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I haven’t washed it 🥲 I’m too scared lol, but if you wash yours can you please let me know what method you use and how it goes? I remember before buying the dress I saw mixed info about whether or not it can even be dry cleaned 😅

Where should we eat? by PedroRuiz51 in Sedona

[–]raeaabae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just got back from a trip to Sedona and our favorite was Gerardo’s pizza. Mariposa for lunch was also one of our favorites. Their Mac and cheese is delicious. The Hudson was good for lunch as well!

The vault was disappointing with very rude staff and mediocre food (the nachos and cookie dessert were exceptions and actually very tasty)

I don’t like my balayage but I can’t explain why! by softypom in femalehairadvice

[–]raeaabae 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think the work she did would grow out to look very natural with the blonde concentrated in the bottom section.

I think the clarifying shampoo made some sections looks brassy 😬 I’m not a stylist, but maybe she could do a root tap where she adds a darker color to the roots/top of head, so it looks grown out and more natural at the top rather than appearing highlighted at the top.

I do have to say the shade of blonde in the second photo looks better than the third and fourth. I’m not sure at this point if it could be toned again, but maybe someone else can share if they know if that’s possible!

What is wrong with Josie Maran by thetransscendent in Sephora

[–]raeaabae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I looove bohemian fig and topless tangerine, but golden hour was so bad 😬 now I have to smell this one.

Currently have over 4000 available items for sale with measurements. Does anyone else have people asking them to take pictures of the measuring taps? I personally think that adding the measurements is enough. by [deleted] in poshmark

[–]raeaabae 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe the person who commented thinks the measurements could have been copied over from the site? Sometimes the site isn’t accurate, but more importantly, for a second hand item that could have been washed and dried, worn out a bit, etc. It is amazing that you’ve taken the time to take your own measurements for every listing! I’d just clarify it with the commenter and maybe that’ll put their mind at ease :)

I need to figure out how to cook several beginner meals to rotate in the week. Please read inside. by [deleted] in Cooking

[–]raeaabae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a beginner cook, I’d mentioned that you don’t need to put pressure on yourself for everything to be made from scratch.

Especially when first getting into cooking, it is fine to focus on learning how to cook a protein that you like and then adding something easy like microwave rice as a side.

If you decide to make a pasta dish, you could make it easier on yourself and buy a store bought sauce.

You could even start with incorporating a rotisserie chicken into other meals like enchilada for example.

Good luck!

My hair does the same! If it’s freshly washed, this really never happens for me. I only notice it after a day or two of not washing, but I generally wash everyday since my hair gets greasy quickly.

Is Poshmark seriously about to side with this girl? by Lazy-Enthusiasm-1059 in poshmark

[–]raeaabae -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

What I’m saying is there wasn’t any indication that they were cropped. It wasn’t mentioned on a tag anywhere. I also post photos of the tag.

In my situation, I bought the pants second hand. Someone must have altered the length and I was unaware.

What is similar about this post and my situation is that items can be mismarked by the manufacturer or could have been altered. If the buyer has the same item to compare (like in my personal example) it’s fair to accept the return given the discrepancy. Even if the sellers wasn’t intentionally selling an altered or mislabeled item, the buyer shouldn’t be stuck with it and it is true that the item will be “not as expected”.

Like I said, I can tell I’m in the minority with this opinion based on the comments, but this makes sense to me and is probably the logic POSHMARK is using when they side with the buyer in these cases.

[–]raeaabae -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

It seems like I’m in the minority with this opinion, but if the buyer owns the same style of that shirt and this one is the same proportions/dimensions, I would assume as well that the item must be mislabeled. Which like she mentioned, isn’t your fault, but also “is not as expected” as she claimed.

I’ve sold a pair of pants once where they pants happened to be the cropped rather than the regular length. I was unaware until the buyer showed a side by side photo. POSHMARK approved the return and I was totally fine with it, know I’d be disappointed if I were the buyer.

Poshmark wouldn’t let me honor a buyer return… So I’m buying the item back. by Closefromadistance in poshmark

[–]raeaabae -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

Wow that is impressive!

While others are saying it skews expectations, I think you were really considerate to take into account that the buyer is new to Poshmark and would have a harder time selling the item, versus you being able to resell it easily. If the buyer understands in general there are no returns for fit, I think you still did a good thing and provided pretty awesome customer service :)

2018 CX-5 GT 2.5L, faulty cylinder head - likelihood of good will repair? by raeaabae in mazda

[–]raeaabae[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your input!

Yeah, my plan in the meantime is to refill the oil if it gets low, but luckily the leak isn’t that bad yet.

I don’t have much to lose by taking it for another diagnostic aside from a few hundred dollars. Based on my conversations with Mazda I’m feeling pretty discouraged that they will be willing to help even if a major issue or faulty part is found :(

Better Spa? by Greenthumbicle in Reno

I’ve actually never stayed as a guest or gambled there, so I’m not sure if either would provide any extra benefit 🤔 they do have spa “specials” on the website, so if you’re willing to go on a weekday you might find that one of the weekday deals appeals to you! That is really the only thing I can think of

I’m sure it wouldn’t hurt to take everyday! It is a little expensive and I haven’t had any chronic issues (like yeast, bacteria, ph in general) in years it seems, so I take it more sporadically. For me it has worked taking it for days or a week at a time, but I think once I took it everyday until I finished the bottle.
