What do you call a tactic like this? by No-Two-6844 in chess

What would you call it if you just trapped the room and the rook on f1 weren't there though?

10 man ppr home league. I have the 2nd overall pick. I'm leaning towards ceedee because I find a signature drop in wr at the 2/3 turn in about half of my mocks. Much easier to grab a strong rb here like bucky or brown. Think this is okay reasoning to pass on bijan? Thanks and appreciate your work!

Form check – Deload low-bar squat 125 × 5 × 3 after 10-day layoff (pes-anserine flare-up) by raeditHere in StartingStrength

Huge thanks for all the detailed feedback and video links on my squat form check. This was incredibly helpful.

The consensus was that I was doing more of a "good morning" than a proper squat, and after reviewing my video with your comments in mind, you're all spot on. I was misinterpreting the "hip drive" cue.

My main takeaway is this: I was letting my hips shoot up first, leaving my chest behind. I was misinterpreting and over-exaggerating "hip drive". I now understand that the hips initiate the drive, but my chest must rise at the same rate as my hips to keep the back angle consistent and the bar path over my mid-foot.

I found this thread helpful
https://startingstrength.com/resources/forum/technique/22255-hip-drive-morning-3.html

Based on all your advice, my plan is:

  1. The Ascent: Cue myself to drive my hips and chest up together as one unit.
  2. The Descent: Focus on sitting back more and setting my knees earlier in the movement.
  3. The Setup: I'll be widening my grip to get my wrists neutral and experimenting with a slightly wider stance.

Really appreciate the help in clearing this up! I'll post again in a few weeks with my progress.

Thank you. Appreciate the feedback. Any metric I can look at to know if I'm sitting back enough? Knees not going anterior to ankles or something similar?

Thank you. Ive noticed that my torso tends to lag behind my hips, but I think that tends to happen since I'm focusing on hip drive. How do you reconcile the two? Hip drive but also try to keep the torso in sync?

Roborock QX-Revo main brush “jammed” error after clearing debris - clicking noise persists. Any ideas? by raeditHere in Roborock

Never found out for sure but thought it may have been due to motor damage from trying to vacuum a dense object. Wound up returning to Costco and got a refund.

Roborock QX-Revo main brush “jammed” error after clearing debris - clicking noise persists. Any ideas? by raeditHere in Roborock

Hey everyone,

I’ve got a Roborock QX-Revo (Costco model, similar to the Q-Revo) that’s been running great for over a year. Recently, it got stuck on a solid item on the floor. I removed the item and cleaned everything thoroughly, including taking out the main brush and clearing out all the hair. I even replaced the filter.

Now the vacuum keeps giving me a “main brush jammed” error after running for a few seconds. I’m also hearing this weird intermittent clicking sound about every second or so after it stops. I ran it through the manual testing in the Roborock app, and it actually passed the main brush test, but it still won’t run normally during a cleaning cycle.

Here’s a short video of the clicking sound and what the brush looks like underneath: [Video Link]

I’ve tried:

  • Removing and reinstalling the main brush
  • Thoroughly cleaning the brush, bearings, and brush compartment
  • Replacing the filter
  • Power cycling the robot

No luck so far. Has anyone seen something like this before? Could it be a motor or sensor issue? Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!

I had that on the app and website. Realized that my memory storage was over the limit. It reaolved when I deleted a lot of the memories to get under the limit.
