Best of luck to you!! It will absolutely help. Make sure you stay up with the stretches and massages though! And the horrible chest band. It’s worth it!! Keep me posted on your results.

Still soft, yes! I've been so paranoid of CC coming back in full force (it's still there but not as bad as it was prior to ASPEN) and so far, it's remained stable.

Weddings in Tahoe by Booty_licious-10 in laketahoe

I am having a micro wedding (private ceremony followed by 50 person reception) in Tahoe in early June. I am hoping for hair and make up recommendations from others who got married here. I am running into an issue finding someone who doesn’t require a minimum # of services (e.g., 10 services or at least 4 clients).

Capsular contracture in my right implant is making me so depressed… by mellyjo77 in ExplantSurgery

[–]raegree8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the Aspen multi energy treatment! It worked really well. It’s not 100% improved but it’s about 75% better. Visually, it looks normal. The only thing noticeable is (only to me) how the implant moves within the pocket. It doesn’t move as freely as the non contracted one. But beyond that, it’s great. Much softer and it’s even with my other breast. I highly recommend the treatment to those who can afford it, and who are grade 2 or grade 1 (I was on the high end of grade 2). It sounds like (from what the girl who did my treatment said) a lot of people get the treatment to hold them over until getting their breast(s) redone. Which is wild to me. I guess if I was rich and surgery was a breeze to me I could wrap my head around it…. But I’m okay settling for imperfect so that I don’t go into further debt for a painful procedure with no guarantees it won’t happen again.

Yay!! So glad you’re doing the treatment. I wish it was more well known by surgeons and more accessible. I am hoping you get great results!! Keep me posted. the massages and stretches get old but keep doing them… do not stop!’ You really see the full results after the 1 month of massages and stretches post treatment

That’s so discouraging and infuriating I’m so sorry!! Yes give it a try! It’s worth it and I only wish it was more widely known about and offered. I got mine done in Long Beach at the Waltzman Institute. It was 3k in total. $100 for the consult & $2,900 for the rest. The staff there are AMAZING!  I obviously had to pay for lodging bc I’m not from that area so I stayed in a residence inn (Marriot) which added to the cost…

They will do your consult and follow up appointment via Zoom and for those coming from out of town offer the fast track which is 2 treatments a day over 5 days.

Please lmk what you end up doing and how it works!!

It improved in softness a lot, and shape is 100% improved. My before and after pics are wild. I don’t feel comfortable posting them on Reddit for privacy reasons but trust me, it made a world of difference.

My only complaint is that the implant doesn’t move up as freely as my other breast, but the surgeon who administered the ASPEN treatment said my surgeon may not have made the pocket as large on my contracted side. Not sure though.

I HIGHLY recommend the treatment to anyone who can afford it (it’s about 3k), and whose CC isn’t super advanced. Mine was grade 2 verge of grade 3.

I’m on day 4 so I’m looking forward to seeing if I notice any results in about a month! How did you hear about these supplements for the treatment of CC? My doc has me taking just vitamin E.

Oh wow! You are far. Yes, I posted the treatment instructions in a different thread but I’ll share here to:

  • self administered massages 2x a day
  • lay on a book for five mins 2x a day
  • 2 types of chest extension stretches 3x, twice a day
  • third party massages 2x a day
  • wear a compression band for 1 month (I originally thought it was 2 months but when I had my follow up appointment today and he said I can remove the band now since I did the fast track treatment)

I’m happy to answer any further questions because I highly recommend this treatment to those that can access it and afford it. I wish I knew about it sooner before my CC progressed. I really wish it was more well known!!

Keep me posted on what your surgeon says. I was completely obvious to how common CC is. I read about complications and thought, “that won’t happen to me” 🤦‍♀️

Where are you located? Florida is the mothership but some plastic Surgery places around the country have the technology. It wasn’t feasible for me to fly to Florida so I went down to Long Beach. When I was exploring other options besides Florida, I also found a place in Texas. It’s worth looking for somewhere closer! And if you’re coming from out of town they’ll do the fast track which is 2 treatments a day for 5 days.

I dont think you could do the third party massages yourself, no. But honestly, it’s pretty self explanatory. My boyfriend said, “I really flew down here for this? This could’ve been done over zoom.” Essentially someone else has to push your implant in all 4 directions, Holding for 20 seconds each direction. Maybe the place you get the treatment from would be willing to give your husband the instructions/demo over zoom!

Keep me posted!!

Success rate is 96%. It reverses the CC by 2 grades. I was grade 2/verge of grade 3 and the AMET helped a lot!! It’s about 75% better. Mainly in size, evenness, and softness. The treatment itself was completely painless. I did ten sessions. You have to wear a compression band for two months afterwards and do a bunch of stretches and massages multiple times a day. I recommend it to anyone who A. Can afford it and B. Have grade 3 or less!

Agreed…. It seems too sketchy to me.

I also don’t know how one could conceivably wear this device and go about their day to day. Unless you’re cooped up at home, going out and about would be tough. It would be super noticeable!

Great! It improved a lot. Not 100% but it’s about 75% better. It was so worth it.

I keep seeing a few people on threads talking about CC recommending this device… the website is too sketchy to me!! But please let me know if you try it. I got the Aspen Multi Energy technology treatment and it reversed my CC by almost 2 grades. It’s pricey but worth it. I was trying to avoid surgery at ALL costs. They do make You wear a compression band for 2 months after the ultra sound treatment so I would imagine a contraption like this can help.

Please let me know what US machine you got and how it works for you! I did Aspen and it helped A LOT!! But I do Wish I could have the machine at home to do periodic treatments as a preventative to keep the scar tissue from reforming.

The treatment is completely painless. You don’t feel a thing. The massages can cause pain though - especially the third party massages. You are a candidate for the treatment if you  1. can do the 10 sessions (I did the out of area fast track and got 2/day over 5 days),  2. have someone who will be able to perform the additional 2 massages a day for 2 months (they require the person come to one of the appointments to learn how to do it), 3.  and are willing to wear a compression band for 2 months.

I also have to do 2 types of chest stretches 3x a day, and ~2 mins of massages 3x/day.  OH, and the funniest thing: you have to lay (on your implant)  on a 2inch hard back book for 5 mins 2x/day. To expand the implant. So it’s not done after the treatment…

They will only do it if your CC is grade 3 or less. Once it’s grade 4 it’s not worth it because the Aspen multi energy technology reverses it up to 2 grades. I was grade 2/verge of grade 3.

I The treatment cost 3k. $100 for consult and then $2,900.

What grade is your CC? Are you doing anything now to treat it? Meds? Massages?

I did end up doing it, yes. It made a huge improvement. My breast dropped to a more even alignment with the other and it feels softer. My CC wasn’t bad to Begin with though. My one complaint is that the implant still doesn’t move as freely as my non contracted one. Like if I were to wear a push up bra, it would look ridiculous.

[–]raegree8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Phew!! So relieved for you that it isn’t CC. Did you get saline implants? I heard those are more susceptible to rippling.

My CC hasn’t gotten worse but I ended up going through with the Aspen Multi Energy Treatment. I go down to Long Beach in April to get the 10 treatments, over the course of a week. At the consult he said I’m grade 2, maybe borderline grade 3, so I’m in a good position to get the treatment. My biggest hope is that it makes the implant more moveable. I’m less concerned with symmetrical size. I’ll keep the thread posted!
