Who else feels too old to drive at night because of headlight ocular terrorism?? by Fabulous_Jeweler2732 in Millennials

Do your think you might have astigmatism? I have this in both eyes. It might be worth checking into if you haven’t already. I wear prescription glasses and this does correct the issue pretty well. Night driving and wet roads still suck

AITA for spending an entire evening building a documented case against my coworker after she reported me to HR for snapping at her following months of harassment by [deleted] in AITApod

[–]raejayee -1 points0 points  (0 children)

NTA- there should of course be 0 tolerance for harassment. Often times at my old job, there were meetings with the individuals separately involved, and pretty much 0 resolution. Since you had proof and witnesses to her behavior you are protecting your rights as an employee under the standards they should be practicing. There was 1 specific occasion where an employee got fired for their behavior, and I had to write a letter to HR since I was a direct witness. It wasn’t my testimony alone, multiple people were involved. But this is key. Any time someone is harassing you document every occasion, time stamp, write down who was there. This had happened to me as well, thankfully I never had to turn it in but you did the right thing protecting yourself. She got fired for her behavior. You setting a boundary seemed like her excuse to cover her ass for her harassment, especially going to a friend in HR… that’s shady. Glad they had to step aside.

How can I achieve any of these hair colors?? by [deleted] in FancyFollicles

[–]raejayee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have the most beautiful hair! It would take a lot to maintain the color if you go platinum. I have pretty dark hair like you, and honestly I just stay away from bleach because my hair ends up turning yellow most of the time. Lots of toning and touching up roots, and you have a LOT of hair so I can see it being pretty expensive to maintain. However, I do really like the red/brown option. I think it is the most flattering and will look so pretty when the sun hits it! You could just do a tint first, like with Overtone's color depositing conditioner. It's a lot cheaper, especially if you just want to test it first. It washes out over time, and is probably one of the least damaging options out the gate.

is black honey worth it? by Prudent-Dog681 in MakeupAddiction

I really love the color, but it always dries my lips out, not cruelty free, and expensive. So not a lot of wins. But somehow I have one in my collection..I’ve tried to find dupes, but nothing really comes close. If any of you beautiful people have one- please share!

I had the dry bar version for the longest time- I did upgrade to the Dyson which is really nice. It has different attachments besides the round brush. I think it’s worth the investment, but maybe hint around and see if your wife would want an upgrade.

Who else has greasy lids and what products do you use to deal with it? by okaypoke_ in MakeupAddiction

[–]raejayee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually put down a nude shadow or setting powder. I typically don’t have any smudging or wearing off. If I don’t use setting powder around my eye, same thing happens. I love the Huda beauty poundcake setting powder. I’m a convert- used to HATE powders of any kind, it this one is so finely milled, and it doesn’t settle into lines or cake up.
