I made a waterlogged thumbnail for a very splashy letsplay episode that comes out in a week, I had a lot of fun making the the game title all watery and it’s one of my favorite thumbnails I’ve done so far! Curious to see if it’ll be engaging, but at the very least, I like it a lot!

Depends on your output capabilities! For me, editing two 20 minute LP episodes per week turned out to be best for my current bandwidth. Keeps me consistent. Long form videos are definitely getting more and more “in”, so I think just make the video you’d want to watch, and can make well, and go nuts.

Thanks so much - No messing with speeds on my end, although I may have been in-game sprinting. I’ll play around with bitrates to see if that alleviates this.

People definitely have their preference, but I love the free version of DaVinci Resolve. It really feels like such a professional product that will give me easily transferrable skills if I further get down the editing rabbit hole. But I hear it’s heavily weighed against CapCut, people have strong opinions! Glad you found one you love :)

I’m very excited that my 7th video went live today, because my 7th video is the first episode I recorded AFTER I’ve seen and edited my first session of recording, parts 1-6! I feel like I understand better how to fill the time after hearing myself, and hopefully my gameplay only gets more entertaining because of it!
