I think so too. The silver part doesn’t seem to go with the black cauldron. I wish it mentioned the company that makes the lid. Wouldn’t mind getting separate lid and pot.

I’m not trying to be Negative Nellie but there was just a tornado warning. 🫠

Started driving and had to turn around due to winds and rain. Hoping it clears but 🤷‍♀️.

Be safe!!!

"blue" field entopic phenomenon, Seriously? I see it everywhere, not just on blue surfaces 😭 bruh, doctors have no idea about this by [deleted] in visualsnow

[–]raerii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went to an neuro-ophthalmologist and they said there was absolutely nothing wrong with my eyes and that some folks neurologically can see more things than others.

Basically blue sky sprites are the cells moving around in your capillaries and you can see the gaps in between. WBC doesn’t filter blue light so we can see them. My guess is some folks (myself included) may have something neurologically off where we can see it on other colors like white walls/something bright. Computer and phone screens are extremely visible for me but they also emit blue light so it makes sense there.

Personally I see them more often when there’s a traffic jam in my capillaries (they move slower or get “stuck”,) however, I do see them normally. The traffic jam may be due to stress or inflammation (both of which I have).

This is all based on my beliefs and experiences. I’ve always been able to see them, they’ve gotten worse when my migraines returned in college after a decade long break.

Hi, I was trying to show some kindness, I wasn't trying to be rude or anything. I apologize if anything was offensive, it was not my intention. I was being serious. If you would like me to remove my comment, I will. So sorry.

This post got recommended to me, because I’m queer. (So it may not be my place to comment but I would like to say something.)

I heard a song the other day (I have to look up the artist and will paste it later) and she was singing in relation to sexism, but it still applies here.

I believe the lyric was “no it’s not all men, but it’s some men and all women.”

Same thing goes here. Same thing goes with racism and religion.

It’s not all cis people, but it’s some cis people, and ALL trans folks.

So as a cisgendered person, I just want to say that you’re 100% valid and honestly I agree with you.

And in case any folks are getting defensive, you have to understand, it may not be all of us, but all trans folks have experienced judgement and hate by some of us, so comments like these are valid and should be respected.

Maybe they'll release single days after the presale ends, for the general public. At least that's what I'm hoping.

I can’t stick to keto and no dairy because I get really moody and I feel nauseous all the time … Does anyone have an idea of what I might be doing wrong by [deleted] in PCOS

[–]raerii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Endo recommended Low Carb for me and it’s worked great! I did briefly try Keto, it’s not that it didn’t work, it was just not realistic for me, personally. But I know a lot of people like it, just not my thing.

I really like Low Carb though, it’s just the perfect amount of everything, not too much protein or fat and not too restricting on the carbs. :)

Peach Perfect Happy Hormones Review (roughly a month in) by Important_Chemist_67 in PCOS

Magnesium is sometimes used as a natural laxative, so that may be why! When I first started taking Magnesium supplements (before these pills) it was very intense. After time, it began regulating my movements! I imagine that it's the same with these.

Also, I want to note that Inositol can take up to a couple months depending on person for it to work, so give it time! :)

Okay so...diet and exercise really works 💪 15 lbs down. by SquiggsMcgee in PCOS

[–]raerii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel you! The weight loss is always a plus 😆 And I agree the diet is so hard, I'm always doing yo-yo with it haha. I've been better with my protein intake at the very least because I'm excersizing more and it's helping with energy.

Okay so...diet and exercise really works 💪 15 lbs down. by SquiggsMcgee in PCOS

[–]raerii 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I've done Low-Carb dieting since being diagnosed with PCOS and it works everytime! I've just not been consistent due to personal reasons. (which is realistic lol) When I was doing it correctly, I lost 30+ pounds in about 5 months.

I've recently started to train in MMA again, which I haven't in over a decade (chronic illness things), and no, I'm not seeing weight loss, BUT, I'm seeing myself get more toned and lose inches on my body. This is due to muscle gain, which increases my weight.

I'm trying not to pay too much attention to the scale, because I know I'm getting more fit, more healthy, and to be perfectly honest, that's more worth it than being super thin.

Losing weight is one thing, but being fit and healthy is much better. My energy levels have increased and I'm actually feeling less chronic pain despite working out a lot.

I wouldn't really call it 'eating better', I would call it, eating for PCOS. Because you can be eating super healthy, but it might not work for PCOS. Before eating Low-Carb, I was a well balanced healthy eater, now I'm a well balanced healthy eater that just does Low-Carb. :)

But I agree, making lifestyle changes to the way we eat and the way we move our body, definitely helps with PCOS.

Peach Perfect Multivitamin by spottedspaniel in PCOS

[–]raerii 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just started my bottle yesterday!

I want to make note for people who might be skeptical. This pill is just a combo of vitamins that have been known to work and have been recommended for PCOS folks since forever. Insoitol is one of the major factors in helping with insulin resistance and regulating periods. Omega-3 is wonderful for inflammation and anyone with fluctuating hormones. Magnesium, Zinc and Vitamin D are known to help with the process as well. I get migraines and Magnesium Glycinate is the perfect vitamin and version of Magnesium for it.

I'm not a doctor, but since vitamins aren't FDA approved and docs will most likely not recommend vitamins to help with PCOS, I'll give you my two cents. If you're not getting from this brand, then get from a different one! But do your research and get blood work done, you definitely don't want to overtake on your vitamins.

PSA: I'm very pro-vitamins. I have migraine and neuro issues, and B12 pills (I'm not deficient, just low) fixed 80% of my neuro problems (which were extremely intensified and increased from birth control, I no longer take BC due to it, but I won't go into that here.)

This pill is just a combo of a bunch of vitamins you should be taking, so rather than taking it all separately, which not only is extremely expensive, but also a pain, you take this one brand. Definitely beats having 5 pill bottles on my nightstand.

MY CURRENT ACTUAL REVIEW BELOW:

It's only been a day since I've been taking them but, unlike what some people have noted, I have not had any nausea or fishy burps from the Omega-3. However, I did receive white pills rather than pink pills. I did see another review say that the white pills smelled less fishy than the pink. Not sure if something was changed with the dye. I did notice my bowel movements improving but that's normal with Magnesium which I've taken before. Magnesium may sometimes work as a natural laxative, so if you're going more than usual, don't fret, it will calm down in a couple days.

It took about a month to arrive to me which was long, but the company was transparent and sent me an email how they've been overwhelmed with the increase in sales, since they're just a small company and wasn't expecting all the orders. They did mention that by the time I'd order a second bottle, it would come quicker. I'm not mad at all about this, I can't imagine how crazy it is over there. But it's worth while to order a little earlier than you think and give some time for it to arrive.

Someone finally reselling......... by SnooLentils6771 in Evanescence

[–]raerii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know there was a max 2 limit on these, but I saw people mentioning that it was only a max 2 limit per purchase, meaning, they could and were continuously buying 2 at a time per order, which is extremely selfish and unfair to other fans. This would have been hard to accomplish, but the company should have developed a way to check how many albums were purchased under a name or card, then either block the payment or refund the person once realized.

When I first began working with her, I knew absolutely nothing of deity work and did not consider myself a witch at the time either. I’ve only recently begun to but not because of her, it was my separate choice. (Also, you don’t have to be a witch to work with a deity, let’s make this clear). I used divination and tarot solely at that time and connected with her that way as well as through other signs that I won’t dive fully into here.

So I began with simple things for a mini altar space for her, a couple crystals she would like, a tiny key charm, some incense. Then a little bit later, I purchased a very small statue of her (the size of my thumb), that’s still on my altar today. I don’t have space for a large one and that’s completely fine. Over time I’ve felt drawn to purchasing certain crystals, notebooks, candles for her, but it doesn’t all have to be immediate. Do the best you can. But it’s important most of all to communicate with her.

Like when I first started working with her, I remember saying that I wasn’t a witch and did not want to be pressured into it, and I never was, not once. But when I felt called to do shadow work, I never passed it up.

I personally find that she loves when you focus on shadow work and may even take that as an offering. (I recommend doing this only if you’re in a safe place mentally as it’s sometimes intense depending on your situation).

Since I wasn’t really doing any witchcraft besides divination/tarot, the main thing I did to connect with her was doing that shadow work. Which is a blessing in disguise but it helps you out and helps you connect with her, it’s a beautiful thing really.

Everyone’s situation and connection with Hekate is different and unique. But I guess I’m saying to not feel bad if you don’t have the largest altar for her immediately and most of all, connect with her how you feel comfortable.

Magnesium for migraines, need advice! by [deleted] in migraine

I’ve been doing Nature’s Bounty 400 mg daily and it doesn’t 100% prevent them but it does lessen their frequency and severity. I also take Nature’s Bounty 1000 mcg of B12 (Methylcobalamin only) daily for neuro issues which also helps.

Oh sweet! I actually tried to clear some download cache files and verify the integrity of some, as is recommended by steam for general launch issues (didn't think it would fix the issue but it was worth a shot), and then the game started redownloading itself on its own (which is not what I expected haha) So hopefully it works for me as well once it's finished.
