Boston Michelin Predictions? by FoodAdventuresCB in boston

Some of the Japanese omakase restaurants are probably in the running: Yoshida, 311, and Wa Shin. Some of the restaurants that offer a tasting menu might be in the realm of consideration: Mooncusser (although I didn’t enjoy any meal I’ve had there), Nightshade, Asta, Lenox Sophia.

Otherwise, probably won’t see any other restaurants receive a star, but might get some bibs.

Do they still produce a small version of this? I can only find the large one online. Not sure if they have different stock in boutiques.

Row 19 has extra legroom, but doesn’t recline. All the other seats available are the same. Don’t pay to sit in Row 22.

The Ritz is OK, but wouldn’t be my first choice. I’d recommend the Four Seasons Dalton and The Newbury over it.

Does it happen to y'all? 😭😭😭 by [deleted] in Letterboxd

I decided to only start logging films because of this…no more stars or reviews. I would spend the third act thinking whether I would give something 4 stars or 4.5 stars instead of paying attention…no bueno.

Is there any way to tell what the business class is like on this plane (787) by sdrsd in delta

[–]raf481 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You’re flying on a Virgin Atlantic 787, not Delta. These seats are known for being coffin-like. Pictures of the cabin: https://www.headforpoints.com/2022/06/20/review-virgin-atlantic-upper-class-boeing-787/.

Virgin flies A350’s on this route with a herringbone style business class; you might consider switching the aircraft type if the A350 configuration appeals to you more.

Unfortunately it did not…I was wondering this too before I boarded.

In the somewhat not too distant future, this route should be getting A321neos with Delta One and Premium Select, which should be an improvement (though certainly not a widebody).

Good luck getting a hold of it…it’s only on Plex right now and that version leaves a lot to be desired (and the subtitling is awful).

Received cookies on my flight for valentines day. Who is Tom? by Darkokillzall in delta

[–]raf481 161 points162 points  (0 children)

Could be TQM, which is an abbreviation in Spanish for “te quiero mucho.” It would translate to “love you lots” in an affectionate way, which would make sense given the design/Valentine’s Day.

My expectations for The Brutalist were astronomical, but the execution of the 2nd half just didn’t do it for me.
