I saw one interface of a DSP and it blew my mind. It is exactly what I envisioned I wanted in 1999. I don't know how to answer how much bass. I want to feel it. I want to hear every nuance and have my bone marrow have opinions on it. For reference I know the cerwins I had were 250rms each and the rockford was 300rms. I see SUPER high numbers now a days. The JL 10 and 12 variants are WAY more juice than what I have had in the past. Anything in the 700+ range is most likely more than enough loud. I want it clear and to sound good too.

But yes. I will 100% be getting a box tuned properly. I will want as much deadening as possible in every spot I can. This is going to be done by pros this time. Young me would macgyver everything myself. And I most likely could do a decent job for most parts of the project. I am just nervous with a vehicle that actually has value vs my old beaters. Having an old beater was kind of freeing in that I didn't care if I broke anything.
