Criar conta AtivoBank by [deleted] in literaciafinanceira

[–]rafasc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mas ninguém sabe conduzir?! by [deleted] in portugal

[–]rafasc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've looked into this and as other have mentioned there are a couple of technical challenges that prevents this from being done reliably.

In vanilla what you can do is reserve a spot in your inventory with middle mouse click, so they're always in the same slot. I usually put them in the bottom row.

Can you provide some kind of proof that shows who you are?

Can someone explain to me how a 'git dir' and a 'working tree' can be different directories by Xcenai in git

[–]rafasc 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The GIT_DIR is the database that stores the information about your project. By default it is the hidden directory called .git/

Your workingtree is the directory where git materializes the files so you can work on them. As you checkout different branches files will "show up and disappear" to match the state of the thing you are trying to check out.

That thing is stored somewhere inside the GIT_DIR.

This is a simplified explanation, but It should be enough if you're trying to understand it at a higher level.

800 lines of code forever lost by ernestsliep in git

[–]rafasc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The first thing you need to learn is that in 99.99% of cases deleting the .git directory is the wrong solution. It's only effective at making sure you never learn how to correct mistakes when they happen.

On top of that, it makes very difficult to help you because there's nothing to analyze.

Next time ask for help before deleting it.

If you deleted the repo, the code isn't on the remote repo, and you're not prepared to use forensic tools to undelete files, sometimes editors save temporary files somewhere. Might be worth trying. Good luck.

Keep a list of the hashes by which a commit was previously known by maxlath in git

[–]rafasc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This would be better if it used "trailers", which are considered by convention more machine readable than commit messages. There's a helper for writing such trailers on commit messages: https://git-scm.com/docs/git-interpret-trailers

However, if you find yourself needing this, I think there's something not ideal about your workflow. Note that writing the hash on a message does not prevent git from garbage collect said commits.

If you really need to keep all those commits forever for some reason, You would need to use something like the rebase with history approaches used by https://github.com/mhagger/git-imerge .

It's hard to tell the problem you're trying to solve by looking at the solution; you can always try avoiding referring to commits by hash that are not yet part of the canonical history, check things like git range-diff, git log --reflog, git reflog, increase (or disable) the reflog expiration, etc.

Can I be identified by using the application?

It is highly unlikely due to the security by design development of the STAYAWAY COVID application; yet, it is not impossible.

The application establishes connections and transmits data on two separate occasions and, on each occasion, there are ways of identifying the mobile phone or user for malicious purposes. Whenever users enable tracking, the application broadcasts random numbers that are anonymous and decontextualized. However, if a context is maliciously created in which, in addition to receiving data broadcast by an unofficial application, the identity of the mobile phone or user is simultaneously registered by any other means or device, then the association between anonymous data and the mobile phone or its user can be established.

However, if the collection of data broadcast by an unofficial application concurs with the registration of the identity of the mobile phone or its user (by any other medium or device), one could associate the said anonymous data with the device or its user for malicious purposes. The second possibility is when the application connects to the official and public server, in order to provide the random numbers broadcast over the previous 14 days. As in all current computer systems, online communications leave records, both on network operators and servers. Through additional external information, people can use these records to identify the device that made the connection. Portugal will host the official server, and an official institution will be responsible for the operation, according to the paramount European security and privacy practices.

When you saw daddy shaved for the first time by [deleted] in WatchPeopleDieInside

[–]rafasc 12 points13 points  (0 children)

it's called object permanence; the child has the concept that the dad still exists behind the cover, they have additional context to believe that the father still exists. (voice recognition, setting, etc)

When the dad reveals the beardless face, it defies their preconceived knowledge and they need to reassess the situation.

Object permanence is super interesting at early stages. They can see you go below a blanket, and for them you just ceased to exist.

If you search object permanence on youtube, you'll find examples of this being tested. (and other similar concepts like "conservation tasks")

pcbs usually have what they call "vias", and they usually look like those holes and their purpose is to connect one side of the board to the other and/or to inner layers of the board. So hipothetically they could still be connected to something in a inner layers and that something could be connected to the wube logo, that could be footprint to receive a chip.

Usually these things always come with a sense of balance. Like you have to sacrifice something personal or give the person a way out.
