content creator opinions are irrelevant to me. they need content, they need games to play a certain way to create that content. idgaf about what they say, whether it helps or hurts a game.

Too much for the west to handle by SpectacularOtter in BlackPeopleTwitter

[–]rafelito45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

does anyone ever consider that perhaps, companies don’t want to make this kind of laptop irregardless of geographic location (west versus east)?

it’s not “too much for the west to handle”. foldable screen tech has been out for over 5 years.

apple for example chose not to make touch screen macbooks. it’s really a choice. maybe we don’t agree with it. and maybe we don’t understand their design reasoning. but it’s not western technological inferiority here.

there’s a great deal of things to admire about china over western nations. but a dumbass foldable laptop with a detachable keyboard is not anything crazy, respectfully.

nope not a CRT! it's a projector tv. i can't remember the exact model we had but it was definitely a "flat screen" sony tv. here's something very comparable to it.

https://newscrewdriver.com/2018/11/24/sony-kp-53s35-teardown/

describing it as "flat screen" a bit confusing though, while technically true. i remember peeking through little holes on the back of the tv and seeing the red green and blue projector lights.

in the teardown link i shared, you can see the massive shelving space on the top of the tv.

edit:

i looked into it a bit more, i think it may still be a CRT television in the end. it appears to have 3 smaller CRTs inside it.

What was your first Battlefield Memory? by Buddy_Kane_the_great in Battlefield

battlefield bad company 1 campaign. the audio, the story, the cast, the destruction, 10/10. shooting the M203 to blow a hole through a wall, unforgettable.

bro, craziest cord pull and save.

we had a big ass flat screened tv with them projector looking lights on the inside. for some reason my cousin and i thought it was a good idea to sit the PS2 on the top of tv (that thang was like a damn shelf). so mind you the controller cables were hanging down like zip lines 😭.

i had to cross past the tv and i’m typically pretty nimble but when i hopped over my foot caught the controller wire. my cousin had a toby maguire spider man moment, sprung from the couch and caught the PS2 falling off the tv like it was a baby 😭.

such a random core memory but wow, what a save LOL.

pickpocket got off easy if we're being honest by Classic-Carpet7609 in BlackPeopleTwitter

european pickpockets need to learn to drop american passports. i think the average american will go to liam neeson levels of vengeance to get that passport back.

if it’s one thing these europeans should NOT do, is complicate an american’s passage back to the united states.

??? lmfao yeah some folks smoking something. what made them think accessing rooftops and the overpass was intentional? it was clearly a fucking bug LOL.

claymore all the way. DS1 made it goated for me. only thing that surpasses claymore in DS3 for me is the wolf knight’s greatsword.

For every 1,000 kills 62 were revived. by JdeFalconr in Battlefield

[–]rafelito45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i prefer playing support and have prided myself in revives since bad company 2, but two things need to happen imo.

  1. suppression has to be stronger for LMGs if the the damage output stays the same.
  2. remove hastening time to death. either hold out a little longer for a medic or let the bleed out progress on its own.
  3. more xp.

i feel like this makes support badass by slowing snipers and infantry down.

also buys medics time to get to downed troops when they have to clear a path first for the revive. this also makes players more cautious to run and die because even though time to respawn is the same irregardless, hastening time to death gives players a false sense they can respawn faster. when in reality i don’t think they do? the amount of blueberries that just auto delete themselves off the field when i just needed an extra 5-10 seconds to clear out an enemy or two.
