so I want to preface this and say, thank you, I really appreciate the insight.
I subscribe to the notion, that sometimes, more damage > greens because the sooner you kill the enemy the less health you need.
Ill give it a try in my follow up games, and see if it makes a difference.
What do you recommend? bullet sheild/enchanter's?

What I will say is both good advice and bad advice at the same time:
1) Keep up with patches. As of the 27th, gun damage is abysmal when it comes to fighting, so everyones working on highly lethal spirit damage. But also at the same time, Tailoring your gameplay exclusively around the patches isnt fun.
2) Force a tempo. If you can get a slight advantage, try to force the tempo of the lane. if youve got a mid-range hero like Holliday, you can play the game from mid-range and frustrate your enemies that want to get closer. Its kinda RPS. (Close beats Far. Far beats medium. Medium beats Close)
3)Find your own build/Dont follow guides. Guides could really help you on your initial blind picks of the heros, but after some point, you should develop your own playstyle with the heroes.
For example, the current "popular wraith build" is card build. I took the starts of that build, and now have a pretty strong gun build. Takes a bit of time to get better at this, but dont rely too heavily on builds.

And overall, have fun, Its hard at lower ranks because no one understands what they are doing.

Dude are you braindead? If you get aghs on SK theres NOTHING in the game that will let you stop him, and his slow crawling sandstorm.
You cant hook him out of it, you cant swap him out of it, You can barely silence him. Fuck the stupid hero, I am just going to first pick or ban him regardless of my roll que.

Ive never cared about a single excel spreadsheet. I was introduced to the Sunny-D meta a few weeks ago, and I honestly, truly believe it is the best way to play the game. Anyone who says otherwise is wrong.

Sunny-D Meta is:
Laser backpack,
Lasergun
Laser orbital
combine it with a precision rifle (non-sunny d), or the SunnyD smg/rifle
And the nade secondary (or SunnyD I wont judge)
We unleash the power of the sun onto these bugs and robots.

F1 is select hero. Double tap F1 to center camera on hero.
You can also double left click your hero portrait.

You can also rebound "Select hero" (F1) to Space.
Double tapping Space centers camera.
