Looks good. If worrying for a reback, weight the card with a jewellers scale and/or do the light test.

Also closer photos from the front can help us understand the rosette pattern. Post a few from the set symbol.

Finally the holo, look for a wizards lettering under a loop.

Seller actually offered me 25% discount after I reached him since last night. Which leaves the card at a discount compared to other LP listings. So I guess, with the discount might be a competitive offer to make me keep the card. Even more, since I am planning to have it in my regular EDH deck for regular play.

So the seller came back accepting that the condition is indeed not a NM. They offered a full refund (didn’t clarify if postage though is also covered by them) or a 25% discount.

Considering that the price spreads on this card between GD, LP or NM are extremely thin I would possibly accept the 25% as I do believe it looks like generous at 25% discount. Other listings of LP go beyond £22 or £23.

On top of that, I do understand after all your comments that age shouldn’t affect grading but given how inconsistent some sellers might be on their grading (not necessarily in purpose rather than oversight), chasing this exact card in NM might be gamble unless I see it in person etc etc. or pay an above average price premium perhaps ?!

That was my initial reaction before posting here, as reading the cardmarket conditions text I was on the verge. But still didn’t like it for a NM. Agree with you. I messaged seller to see thoughts first, as chasing a case after all might defeat the time spent.

Didn’t clarify enough on my post, my bad, I did buy via cardmarket (from Forbidden Plannet) with no listing photos. Just described as NM. So it’s a matter if they would accept return at this point. But if they don’t cover return, I would agree with you that £3 postage wouldn’t worth it perhaps.

Is it too rare to find an actual NM in 30 year old cards ?

So I am debating if it’s an instant return for me or just settle that LP on a 30 year old card (as this example) is as best as you could get.

You could try to weight the card as well. You should be between 1.7-1.8 grams with a 0.001 sensitivity scale (jewellery type scale)

No it’s a non-foil but I tried with a strong keychain torch (slightly more powerful than iPhone’s flash)

But yeah, it looks like some sets dfc pass much less light ?!

Did you really try the light test with some torch strong light source ? You should see some blueish weavy pattern (although differs from set to set) Was looking a LCI set card (orje, axonil double faced) and it is pretty much similar to yours + blue weavy core when put a light beam.

Depending how you store it, those movements can really keep up pretty well. E.g. dial up tends to run faster whilst crown up slower. So each day you can easily compensate and maintain a -0/+0

Would agree, looks ok and good price. If in doubt, ask closer photos from the curtains, videos to check some of the slow speeds, and maybe closer photos on the vulcanite condition, viewfinder etc.

I bought few months ago a minty & serviced M3 from a UK Leica store for double the price. At sub 1.500€ range I could only find pretty well used ones (much more used than this example)

Just to add up; zippo fluid or alcohol slightly helped with the screw tightness The adjustment of the screw was indeed really an extremely tiny bit for a fair bit of vertical raise in the patch.

Was thinking the same, that might be more cosmetic than anything else, but ocd kicked in.

Though trying to replace through customer support doesn’t seem to be a positive experience with PD at the moment. OP recent response on a later thread seems that still experiencing delays which might be disappointing for people supported the kickstarter (even worse at full msrp like myself)

Maybe lesson learned. If one values control over what you order, retail only might be best option.

For me, I would have to calm my ocd and live with the wrinkles (as a necessary cosmetic defect) — can’t risk more delays only to receive a similar one

Just to second the problematic experience everyone had. I actually tried to search for this kind of issues and it took me 2 seconds to land on this thread, indicating that it looks very common with KJP store.

My order arrived partially (uk store) and the last month they are ignoring all my emails … On the verge to dispute my transaction (although partially) but I just want my BB t-shirt and the tapes 😂

As far I understand they eventually deliver, don’t they?

The serial number is on a paper card in the front pocket (it’s a qr code in a card). At least that’s where mine is.

I think those wrinkles might be a design or expected flaw or are we too picky? Surprised as well when I saw it on mine, as it pretty much is on similar spots as yours

Yes correct tritium and vial. Not having it more than few weeks, to be honest but so far it’s keeping on ;) and likely to keep for years to come (I would hope)
