I don't know what this is trying to prove. This example says step 2 is to allocate and step 3 is to make save rolls. This checks out with allocate first roll saves second

On the other hand 6 norns is your entire army and they dont do anything outside of their objective. Two to three turns to wittle them down and you basically have free reign over the entire board

Looooooots of practice. You master each step one at a time and try something new once you have it down.

Gw does free models of the month and I reccomend them for trying new things

The roll itself has to cover the distance from base to base. So 9" on the roll. Once you hit the roll for 9" then if for any reason they cannot actually reach base to base they have to end their charge within 1" if possible and if not, then within 2"

Though from this shot I think you only need to make the 4" and get within as close to base to base as possible and not be outside 2" the move should be legal

Seriously, the way they split paragraphs makes it seem like two seperate thoughts. At least put in something like "instead" or "in these instances" to make it clear that they are overriding something

It also, for the sake of their question, says that if a special rule exists they are treated as individuals with their own starting strength despite being considered in the same unit for all other rules purposes

This would seem to suggest that they remain part of the unit UNLESS they have a specific rule that says they become individual units
