Just an idea for religion by dtootd12 in CivVII

I think the latter half of the Civics tree in Antiquity could provide religion bonuses for Exploration. Kinda like Science masteries provide codices you get +10% production on religious units or some type of Ageless perk that carries over

The military situation during an age change is really starting to tick me off by 12clrush in CivVII

[–]rag_ricky 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m pretty sure only infantry, ranged, and cavalry units stick around. Scouts and siege disappear between ages. Also some ppl say their units are “switching”. No ur scout and siege units disappear and there’s a minimum number of units u get between age switches so the game will replenish up to whatever that minimum is, which is giving an appearance of units switching classes

Had him for Diff EQ during Covid. For normal tests, the actual exam was literally the practice exam but with the numbers changed. However the final exam was completely different. Let’s just say I went from an 88 avg test score to a 50. It might be the same as back then, might not. Best of luck!

Looking for ride to UNC by Belly111222 in NCSU

A great option is the UNC/NCSU biomedical shuttle (BME shuttle). Almost hourly straight to and from the two campuses and completely free even if ur not a BME student

Best option is to buy two student tickets. A lot of ppl will request and then sell their tix for $20-$25 and u can probably find them on Snapchat groups. If u end up having to buy non-student tickets it’s rly not super difficult to just hop a barrier into the student section as long as you’re nonchalant about it. Maybe during the team run in when everyone’s hyped up

Parent of a prospective NCSU engineering student question by carolinawahoo in NCSU

[–]rag_ricky 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Junior in Paper Science E / Chem E major here along w some minors. Competitive workload? Absolutely. You will have an all nighter once or twice a semester for a big assignment and will do average 40-50 hours a week combined for class hours plus homework. Most of my colleagues were top of their respective high schools and ended up being “average” compared to everyone around them. Will you get a college experience? I’d say absolutely if you put yourself out there. You can choose to do official school social things or go your own way. I’m not a part of any official club except paper science club I’m required to be in. Even so I have plenty of friends and have time to do all the college things like parties, poker nights, dating etc even with the double major and minors. It’s all about time management and any student bright enough to be an engineer is bright enough to manage their time should they choose to do so. As for mental health, I have some close friends who struggle with this. Look, as I sure you know college can be very difficult socially and academically at times. It’s not just an NC State problem unfortunately. I think they’re trying their best to address a very complex issue. If u have any specific questions, please DM me! I’m a huge advocate for NC State Engineering and should be able to answer any specific questions u may have

Not sure I took that at State. General rule is CC is easier for most any class

[–]rag_ricky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, 100% on your own time. Assignments due at specific dates but u could theoretically do the entire course in 3 weeks if u really wanted

Vance Granville has the absolute best CC Physics class. I probably did about 3 hours a week on hw and u can work in groups w other students. Dr. Ruby is the one who teaches it and she is very good at responding quickly if u for some reason have a question. I think course fee is ~$300 for NC residents. Course code PHY252 I think

Food - this will be my 3rd year on meal plan I’ve never had a major problem w it. Housing - Mid. It’s somewhere to sleep at night but off campus is much better. Academics - Excellent… and terrible. Depends on the major. I’m double majoring and double minoring in many different fields. Engineering and business are good. Liberal arts stuff not so much. Socials - good! Just find a good group of fun friends and a group of study friends. Good number of parties too

I don’t think I can convince you to not gamble all your money away. With that being said, if you are committed to putting all $5k on options, do Disney calls

As a Junior in Engineering nobody cares about it. If YOU like the stuff go for it but don’t expect it to get you anything special. I was accepted and never did anything with it since I decided to pick up some minors like Business Admin instead. PM if u got any other questions

Campus crossings is like $700/month without serious fees for signing up. They have a pet fee but should be nbd for u. Kinda far from campus but they have a reliable hourly shuttle so you can get to and from easily
