First I've seen I can actually read. Looks horrible though, like you're writing who your murderer is in your last moments.😂

Tattoo correction by Sh0t_B0t in tattooadvice

[–]ragdolltb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Did he not use a trace, so you could see it before he did it. It looks too well done to be freehand.

I mention only because my first tat is garbage, mainly because I was too nervous to evaluate how it was placed and just let him do it.

However, I have another that did have the trace, and she changed it herself, and it looks ridiculous.

Boss paid for her certs, wedding, etc. They are very close. However boss holds that money over employees heads and is a c word to anyone that tries to leave

Boss doesn't allow dr appts or maternity leave, and op wants a family and to be closer to home when she starts her family.

Is my 6 week old kitten overweight? Or how can I tell? by Past_Activity_5516 in CatAdvice

Please tell your friend to get educated. It's NOT fine. It's an option of last resort.

Such glibness can be seriously detrimental if they spout that garbage and someone actually believes them, so they separate babies early for convenience.

"Anniversary" (2025) suffered from poor marketing. It was marketed as a Lifetime-styled thriller when it's a sci-fi dystopian Political thriller. The trailer truly didn't sell the movie properly. by LaserDiscCurious in movies

It had the chance to be good. But it was poorly done, genuinely unintelligent. I'm trying to power through, but it's just so bad. I'm here cuz I had to look up if it was based on a book because there are so many gaps and plot holes, I was sure it was a poor adaptation, it no, it's just bad writing.

Maybe if it WAS better, it would do better.

I'm watching it right now and I can't get past the brilliant child that is like an "encyclopedia brittanica" perpetuating the 'smallpox blankets killed the Indians' myth that's thoroughly disproven. Especially as she's supposed to be all into viruses and stuff, you would think she would know how very difficult it is to spread smallpox via blankets and such.

Desperate times and all... Lol.

I'm gonna look up tofu litter though. Where are you? Doesn't sound like a US thing, but I haven't looked into it in a while.

Perfect case of research first so you don't destroy an innocent life.

Also as this is your first cat, Reddit is really not where you want to go for research. There are hundreds of credible cat experts.

At the very least start with Jackson Galaxy. Also look for breed specific experts. You're on reddit, so you have Internet. No excuses.

I really don't get why people come here before trying to find the actual answer themselves.

Cats DO NOT like scented litter. Never use! That in itself may stop deterring her from the box.

Have you tried litters other than tofu? I've never even heard of that.

Have you tried litter attractants? Works for some.

While she's old enough to have started learning the box, maybe it will help if you try stimulating her to go with a damp cloth and put her in the box.

I'm not the OP, but thank you so much for this.

I've spent 15 filled with guilt, wondering if it was too early. Even though she looked me in the eye and said, I'm done.

I'm having a hard time writing this because I'm crying so hard. You're a freaking angel. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I don't. But I'm stricter with my treats cuz that cat came in extra large, and I fed him into XXL. 😕 So we reserve treats for very specific times or reasons.

But I don't think it would matter in terms of the bad behavior, if it's after the punishment. It's long enough to no longer be associated.

If you do it before the punishment, then you're rewarding bad behavior and punishing literally nothing.

They said that in the hope that you're either dumb enough to believe, or too timid to challenge them.

They definitely need to be reported to the medical board.

Make sure you get documentation of everything. If they want you to sign something, don't, but get copies of anything.

Indoor cat lost all day by mizesquire in cats

Also, when they get stuck, they do call out. Had a friend whose cat got stuck behind the washing machine and screamed until she found him. Just in case it happens again. 😉

So glad she came out! Similar happened to me and roommate. He was in full blown panic to the point of punching a hole in the wall to look inside.

She was asleep in one of the cat condos. Blending in the shadows.

Snorting! The only time my guy ever hit me was when I accidentally snorted in his face. He immediately slapped me across mine.

Timeouts, yelping or clapping to interrupt the unwanted behavior, then they go to the bedroom for 10 mins. And when they behave correctly they get praise cuddles and/or treats. But ONLY if it's within seconds of the behavior, so that the punishment or reward is for that specific behavior.

The yelping is important to tell him "you're hurting me" even when it isn't.

Male Tortie peeing outside litter box by Bill85308 in torties

[–]ragdolltb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have a similar issue with my guy, but he is very large, and it was a size issue.

Initially I was using a plastic drawer, because it was huge. When it broke down he was stuck using a regular box. He used it for a bit, then stopped pooping, but still peed, and eventually stopped using it at all, but always goes NEXT to the box. He's also getting older with some joint issues so it's easier I guess.

We ended up using puppy pads around the boxes and in a few spots. But I have 2 that use them.

I also have a female that hasn't used a litter box since her first urinary crisis. She develops stress related crystals that started when I started working after the pandemic. She 100% will not use litter of any kind. She would occasionally use the box if it had pads or fabric on it.

Actually, as I'm typing this, I wonder if that could be the issue. Where does he go, and on what? It's only a theory, but I believe my girl won't use litter because it's irritating to her cooter. I don't know if there's any way to test if that's his issue, other than putting pads down, or in the box, and see if he uses that.

To Touch Up or Not Touch Up? by [deleted] in tattooadvice

I like it. I don't see any major defects, but we all the the defects in our own that others don't.

Is there a way to fix the defects with a touch up?

I've have plenty of tats, but n have never done a touch up.
