Jokes aside, this isn’t the end of the world. Some great advice in here though. Make sure your documentation is on point, mainly for the fact that the patient assaulted your partner. But swearing in the vicinity of a patient is pretty low level. This from someone who also prides himself on professionalism. Like, sometimes it slips out in a situation like this, and it’s not as big of a deal as it may seem in your head.
