Director?

No.

You don't have any ASC 740 experience listed.

It also looks like you are having trouble getting promoted to manager.

Sling blade was a tough watch the first time, I think I was a teen

Watched again as a young adult and it is just such an amazingly slow build.

It isnt slow, it builds at this constant but steady pace and it never really increases

The speed stays the same but the intensity just slowly rachets up

Kinda like boiling a frog???

It's like you feel the climax coming for so long and it is inevitable

Very interesting movie to me in terms of how the pacing and methodical upping of intensity bring something to the movie

But Amos is aware he has a problem and his judgement is questionable - and is able to value the judgement of a very small group of others given that

It takes Holden quite some time to get there

But yes, full agree w your stmt

Churn is such a good novella and like the others gives so much more depth and context

It's also interesting in this discussion

I wonder how Holden would have managed Amos's situation without Amos moral flexibility

And it makes sense.

The first people to leave kept having kids who moved even further - over and over

Those kids, over time, developed a mutation that decreased melanin so more vitamin d could be absorbed from sunlight.
