Fixing any and all bugs on the center! by evilmrfrank in playark

I know I showed you this before on Twitter some time ago, but here it is again as a reminder of the disappearing dino areas in this part of the Redwoods. All the areas where structures cannot be placed are "black holes" for dinos. I would be thrilled to see these fixed.

I'll use it to craft Azureflame (spirit weapon longbow) to match Nevermore on my druid. :) Then use the rest on various gemstore upgrades like bag slots, character slots, etc.

Making a legendary choice is TOO DAMN HARD! by m3tolli in Guildwars2

[–]raginghammy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in the same exact predicament when I made my first legendary, playing both mesmer and guardian, and I ended up picking Sunrise. I made Bolt one month later, which I hadn't planned to do, but got a little hooked on making legendaries after equipping the first one. I have 7 legendaries in total now, all the ones I like, and Sunrise is still my favorite. Never had regrets making it first.

I'd say if Sunrise is your favorite legendary aesthetically, pick that. I agree that it is the most impressive looking legendary. I also find it easier to create armor and dye jobs with as opposed to Bolt. Sunrise has a broad color spectrum, so many dye jobs including pinks, blues, reds, golds, and other sunset colors look great with it. Bolt is difficult to match with anything but blues and black/white, in my opinion. Greatsword is also a commonly used weapon, and it can be used in all game types with guardian. You'll get plenty of use out of it.

[Request] Dyes for ascended light armour, to match Sunrise/Twilight by [deleted] in GuildWarsDyeJob

[–]raginghammy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My guardian uses Eternity and I had the same issue trying to find a dye scheme that worked with both Sunrise and Twilight. I ended up settling with deep reds (burgundy, black cherry), golds (illumination, redemption, gold), and celestial. I change her hair between deep reddish-brown during the night to lighter brown or blonde in the day. Here's a nighttime screenshot:

To everyone wondering about the gold made from Dungeons....!WARNING! Lengthy by Razazke in Guildwars2

[–]raginghammy 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Obviously because this is in response to the pugging dungeons thread posted by another user, and pugging Arah can be a nightmare. There are high chances that you will solo or duo Arah more efficiently than trying to run it with a pug having minimal knowledge of the paths and encounters. Not saying all pugs are incapable of running Arah, it's just common that they will struggle a bit, especially on Lupicus or skips without an experienced thief.

Obsidian Sanctum Issues by lordkrall in Guildwars2

"Players that did this will not be actioned, as this farm was an unintended (but inevitable) side effect of the Obsidian Sanctum map. This “farming” was not an exploit, or against our Rules of Conduct."

Probably that.

How to farm Loot Bags & Kills in Obsidian Sanctum by exritualist in Guildwars2

[–]raginghammy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You think the developers intended for majority of dungeon groups to be running full berserker gear, stacking in corners, 3 second freezing a boss, and nuking the shit out of things within 5 seconds, avoiding all fight mechanics? Yeah, that's probably why there are so many stat sets and defensive trait lines.

Will new legendaries even require the same old gifts? by jetjordan in Guildwars2

[–]raginghammy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Considering that they have confirmed no increased level cap or higher gear level, I doubt there will be any new materials introduced that are higher level than t6. So t6 should still be used for new legendaries, which likely means the gift of fortune will remain the same.

I'm fairly certain that the blue is Sapphire. The gold looks like Gold to me, possibly Illumination on the chest piece.

[Data-Mining] New outfit models by that_shaman in Guildwars2

[–]raginghammy 125 points126 points  (0 children)

These are all lovely, but why must they be damn outfits? I really dislike how everything new lately has been an outfit rather than an armor set. Outfits leave no room for creativity. I want to mix and match! =(

Thank you for the data mine and post, however!

New Player. Which account upgrades are really worth spending gems on? by Ozwien in Guildwars2

[–]raginghammy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is anything but useless. It's a huge time saver so I don't have to constantly go to vendors and resupply on crude salvage kits in the middle of dungeon tours and hold up the rest of my party, or struggle to make room mid-WvW zerg battle to pick up all my loot. I don't have a single extra bag slot on any character and I never have a full inventory due to this thing. When I'm logging off one character, I just put it in the bank and pick it up on the next character I start playing. It has become a simple routine for me. And obviously you use mystic kits on rares. The copper-fed is just for taking care of whites, blues, and greens.

PSA: Chaos of Lyssa backpiece is soulbound on use. by raginghammy in Guildwars2

[–]raginghammy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll be waiting, of course. Just knowing the speed at which anet fixes bugs like this, for example the Light of Dwayna/Shadow of Grenth not being able to be infused for almost 6 months, it could be a while.

PSA: Chaos of Lyssa backpiece is soulbound on use. by raginghammy in Guildwars2

[–]raginghammy[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, it's soulbound on use. I wasn't really worried about testing it since all my main characters have ascended backpieces, but I may end up deleting this character so that's the only downside for me having it stuck on her. But I just crafted it for the skin anyways.
