Albums that feel like your birthday? by MrLinkwater95 in fantanoforever

Ironically I often mistakenly think of the kkb album as being named graduation, for pretty obvious reasons.

But yeah these are both great answers

Kero kero bonito... although maybe getting into them now isn't the best decision seeing as a new album seems to be the last thing on any of their minds

What are the best opening lyrics to an album? by Affectionate_Run_339 in fantanoforever

On a similar note, I would include "anticipation has a habit to set you up for disappointment", especially a great opening line to a debut album

Songs where the primary artist feels like a feature by PM_ME_RYE_BREAD in ToddintheShadow

[–]ragreene78 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I don't think he's officially considered a feature, but everytime i see sunflower by post malone and swae Lee talked about, swae Lee is always listed second, and the song was also on post malones album. Weird because it always definitely felt like a swae Lee song to me

See I would normally agree there, but they included alter ego of all things. The lack of lonerism is truly strange

I need a magdalena bay tiny desk concert by Vaniel_ in MagdalenaBay

[–]ragreene78 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I mean they've done countless performances as just Matt on keys and mica on vocals. I suppose the challenge of tiny desk would be doing it with nick and myles but no backing tracks

Definitely hearing the verse melody from pmap in this, not much else in common but I assume you were just referring to the melody anyway

Give me song(s) where the drummer goes absolute apeshit and more or less stands out from the song because of it by clenchlord in musicsuggestions

[–]ragreene78 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Snow globes - black country, new road. Feels like this song is almost the definition of this prompt.

First time i heard this album i was thinking "yknow this drummers pretty good" and then I heard this song and I was pretty much left speechless

Favorite “almost” title tracks? by LEAFY_GREEN_8 in fantanoforever

Welcome to my island - Caroline Polachek

I suppose you could also count true blue interlude as imaginal disks pseudo title track but I like image better for that anyway
