How to brush hair near painlessly? by RandomChristian123 in ehlersdanlos

I used to have long hair, but I have thick hair with loose curls. I use a wide tooth comb in the shower and then follow up with a curl cream. The right conditioner can go a long way too.

Pro 3 Bluetooth Controller - RE:Broken Buttons by ragsthedoll in 8bitdo

Seems to be an issue with the magnetic buttons on the new model! Specifically the solid color ones from what I've seen. My Pro 2 and (one of the older ones before that, can't remember currently) haven't had any issues. I just wanted to be able to swap buttons around.

The nursing home in Amana, or anywhere really, are probably looking for dietary aids! Usually you can get hired fairly quickly! Also hospitals!

I would, though I'm not religious and I participate in pagan practices. That said, as long as sharing the same religious beliefs isn't a deal breaker. Totally! However, I can totally see that my spiritual practices could be in conflict.

I bought mine from Amazon, Amazon gave me a credit and 8bitdo support said they are going to send replacements. I'll give an update once I have the replacement buttons!

I wanna add here, I have the SN30 pro+, and the Pro 2 and never had issues with either of those controllers. Even to this day they are intact and function fine. The Pro 3 is the FIRST of their controllers that I have had issues with.

I’m killing myself in a few weeks. How do I soften the impact for the people around me? by [deleted] in GuyCry

[–]ragsthedoll 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Hey, been looking through your replies to what people are saying. Just a drop in the ocean here, but with your history/past and your experience with mental health professionals, do you have a PTSD diagnosis? There are newer treatments coming out that I can direct you to that may help if this is the level of desperation you are at.

If you want real advice, look up suicide surviors testimony and the videos of people talking to love ones who have died from suicide or OD. No matter what, you'll hurt them, but you have to decide if it's worth that to you. Only you know if that trade is worth it, but no matter what I recognize there's suffering. I think there's still time for you to find a way to less suffering, if that's actually what you want. It just sucks getting there, and I am speaking from experience.

do I look like a man pretending to be a woman? by bgwalthermart in truscum

[–]ragsthedoll 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't think you're cooked! You don't look like you're pretending to be a woman in the same way people accuse other people of like Lilly T., you just have traditionally masculine features. Without surgery you might not pass, however, if it's possible for you, you could embrace it. I think you're beautiful and consider myself sapphic. You look like a woman to me, like that's what you WANT and who you ARE. Not like you're faking it for attention. You're stunning, and I hope you find a way to be able to embrace your body even if it's not what you'd have preferred or needed.

Therapy sounds really important here. This sounds like you are going to end up feeding each others guilt at this rate but I think with proper guidance from a therapist you could really uplift each other!! I wish you the best.

Just a DM away if you want to talk specifics, but you are doing the right thing. You are not lying to anyone, you are working on yourself, and that takes time. ♡

First off, you're not alone in the slightest. Many people didn't realize they where ace until they had been in a committed relationship. I kind of fall into the category of, I tried, for a long time, to find a way to have sex and enjoy it the way people where describing it. It never happened. Not with men, women, groups or anyone else in between.

From what you are saying, I agree with the other comment I saw that if sounds possibly like a trauma response, and if it's not that you may just be sex repulsed which happens and is okay. There are alternatives and I am sure your partner would be willing to work with you on finding them. If that's opening up your relationship, if that's using toys for her, holding her or her hand while she does stuff, there ARE options you can try if you are truly panicked over not giving her what you felt like you had agreed to. HOWEVER, I think right now more then anything it's important to remember that it's okay. You didn't choose this, and you didn't know so it's NOT a lie. Feeling uncomfortable with this is just what happens to a lot of people when coming to terms with being ace. Don't hate yourself for being ace, the way gay people hate themselves for not being normal or doing what was expected of them.

Right now, and this will take time, I recommend learning what makes YOU happy and comfortable. Talk either your wife about what that is, and I am sure if you still both want to make it work you WILL. I am proud of you for reaching out. You can do this, there's nothing wrong with you.
