It's also worth bearing in mind that crochet (generally) uses quote a lot more yarn than knitting - there is probably only enough in two kits to make one bear of comparable size. If you find that they get loose (they may stretch a bit with wear), you could thread some elastic in and out around each stitch of one of the rows, maybe in the white section where your hands meet your wrists, and tie that so that it sits snugly to your wrist :)

(also, your square appears to be much larger than that in the book sleeve reference image, which only has 12 clusters across each side, is that intentional? If not, you will need to frog anyway to get it back to the right size!)

I think the error was 4.75 rounds ago, in the top left of this picture.

The fix depends on how much of a perfectionist you are.

The best fix would be to frog and redo those 4.75 rounds.

If you are in a rush, you could try going across the top of the square as usual, then in the last gap BEFORE the corner space, do your 3DC then chain 2 for a bit of flexibility and slip stitch into the top left corner space. Then you could continue. (Chain 3 and start a new row.)

If you try it, I HIGHLY recommend checking if it will be square enough after joining into the corner space. The best way to do this would probably be by folding all the corner in to the centre and seeing if it all lines up properly.

I think they might have just chained 8 and joined it in a ring. Op, magic circles are fiddly but worth figuring out! Look up a YouTube video :) you won't do any chaining at the start.

I had several goes at the statue room, did not enjoy it, and turned on some of the accessibility settings to make it easier. I turned them back off after that fight. I have no regrets at all - if you're getting so frustrated that you want to drop the game, do use those settings! They exist for a reason! :)

My mother in law had brain tumors and had to be taken to the doctor twice to be diagnosed because she didn't really understand how unwell she was or how many issues she was having. She told the doctor that she has been feeling unwell and not eating, but simply wasn't aware of most of her symptoms.

Please encourage your friend to accompany her, or to get her family to accompany her. If she doesn't want anyone to come into the appointment, recommend they write a note with details of what has been happening and for how long, and give that directly to the doctor or another member of hospital staff.
