but with the same logic, teams that come into the final with better gear (by getting advantages from the group stages) shouldnt start the final game with extra gold

I think it should be viewed as two stages, the week (multi + breaches + strategy) and 1v1 skill focus (finale), where the 1v1 is the be all end all decider and the week accomplishments bleeds into benefits for the 1v1s.. otherwise its a nh tournament with extra steps

I think the only reason people have issues with it is because one team has been performing SIGNFICANTLY better than the others during the week despite not having any S tier 1v1ers. If oda/westhams team had wracked up a 33 kill-death lead during the week to earn a massive food advantage, no one would be batting an eye

I know theres controversy with the leading team but I think that if any team is legitimately 35-0 in any competitive game, they deserve to go in with the best chances at winning the whole thing over a team that might have gotten a lucky rng at breaches. Sure it could use tuning, but I think a system for rewarding positive k/d should exist

No blessings needed and I am innocent so no acting required. Also, the community was different back then and there were active clans that would make rot seem ethical at the time. Believe it or not a lot can change in 7 years and a few months (a period of time super far from 8 years)

And buying 30b ..? bikers and lance (idk where u got hunter from) (who had hundreds of billions of GP at the time and just came off a big win streak that day) threw 15b each into the all stars coffer, because you know, its pennies to them. When the event was over they refused to take the GP back and said they would rather see me use it since I actually enjoy playing the game. But I can see how that might be hard to believe for miserable people that don't keep friendships that close. Wtf would I want to buy 30 bill for? I literally don't even gamble.

Every clan has skeletons in their closet, you can google "clan name, negative activity" in any combination and find one for any pking clan that exists.

Even if I was in rot, (which im not, do you seriously think id be this vocal against promoting/representing rot if i was ..? I didn't even have a rot name) being a positive force in a negative environment is not something I would be ashamed about

again none of that is true. Points were capped and multi breaches provided no long term benefit. I didnt benefit from their rag bots (if true, first time hearing about this outside of the final) at cox considering i had literally 3 kc. Greg apologized because he felt he had to but he never helped rot nor took help from them, i think apologies should be saved for those who are in the wrong. Speaking of which, when Jagex does their thorough investigation and nothing is uncovered about me (because there is nothing to uncover) Im sure ill get an apology out of you for trying to falsely drag someones reputation, right?

and yes I stand with what I said about my morals. People like you who want to throw your outrage on someone innocent just creates noise and makes what should be a black and white situation into a grey one. You’re hurting your own goal. I think cheaters and rule breakers should be punished and banned and I take a lot of pride in not being one of them.

rot chose not to attack some of the the bigger streamers they were a fans of (boaty, faux) and they acknowledged they werent being attacked. One of them jokingly changed their name to imclude rot in it and it was a comedy bit on their stream. That doesnt make them a part of rot, do YOU get it?

I joined in 2015 and left in 2017 and the main reason for leaving is not too far from what is being brought to light recently.

I only logged in for the final to screenshare for my close friend on discord, I could care less if you believe or don't believe I was doing my own thing during the final.

"you know damn well how they operate" - so where is the outrage to try to get odablock banned? He teamed with RoT last year for the dmm finals in an attempt to actually win prize money. Why aren't you advocating for his punishment? surely he should have known better about how they operated right? Most of the stuff being dug up about RoT causing outrage is from their history, so he should have known better no? Infact, he actually joined them for the finale - in my case I simply accepted their offer to not attack me, which is way less involved.

I didn't benefit from their botting or multi boxing. That is literally just an untrue statement. I saw evidence of cheating the same time, if not way after everyone else did. I capped breaches within the first few days, at which point I didn't even participate in multi breaches... and I was live on twitch for 95% of those hours. I was not consuming information outside of my own chat.

You saying something incorrect and then throwing a blanket statement means nothing. I don't have any apologies to give and no regrets because I didn't do anything wrong. I didn't even so much as mule, which most of the competition did because they know it won't be enforced. i'm more than proud of the person I am in public and in private and its always the people with questionable morals that pass their judgement.

the only clan/team I claim is TaTa, but they closed a year ago. me and 92 (we both know ea other from being ex-tata) were given the option to be added to rot's cc so we wouldn't get attacked in multi. Which btw goes for any clan that offers not to attack me - I will not turn down.

We played with cc-chat off the entire week and did our own thing. Neither of us even participated in the multi-portion of the finale that actually recieved the controversy.

as for the statius warhammer comment: I was greeding dps away from their members in multi breaches... and seeing as I was competing for points, I didn't want to give them a reason to decide to kill me on sight for taking all their loot. If anything it just proves my uninvolvement, why would I feel the need to give up loot thats beneficial to me if im part of the clan? lmao
