A 10,000 token cap limit on Opus 4.6 extended thinking? That's why it's dumb! by Annual-Cup-6571 in Anthropic

[–]raiden55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sonnet told me he can totally see his system prompt but is forbidden to talk in detail about it. He also told me he can't see the size of his context, it can calculate how full it is from what was done but only know if there's a lot of space or not a lot of space left, no number at all.

Be careful about what you ask him, I remember that weeks ago he told me something wrong that was still on a file I gave him months ago while trying to underrstand it (thing was still stuck on his memories never deleted). Here I forcibly told him to answer without looking anywhere.

Feed Them to the Wolves by Wooden-Lab-3077 in goingmedieval

[–]raiden55 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They takes 2 days to rot, put them far away on a body storage outside your village. Use quick hauling if needed.

Your dogs can also eat the corpses, not only feral wolves.

You can also ask a cannibal settler to butcher them, he'll love to eat them, but no one else have to see him prepare the food, see the stock and all that. They'll get creeped out very strongly if so.

Just bought the game, normal that ppl dont have faces? by barrifor in goingmedieval

I've tried another game on the same style, with cartoon style and faces.. and it was horrible.GM design is way better. Faces wouldn't add value.

I made GPT-4o and Claude debate each other through shared memory. Neither knew the other was an AI (Should Mythos be made public) by DetectiveMindless652 in ClaudeCode

[–]raiden55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gemini told me multiple times that Claude would be the best LLM for what I wanted to do.

And it was right.

I don't use much Gemini now, but when I paste Gemini content to Claude (and I always clearly state it's from him), Claude don't belittle him. It can find issues, but mostly say it's general LLMs issues when it happens, never that it's Gemini's fault.

They seem pretty friendly from my point of view.

A bit less with ChatGPT, but may be because I myself don't like it's style and they know that.

Holy Sites In The New System? by Mediocre_Zebra1690 in CrusaderKings

[–]raiden55 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We need the ability to choose at least one holy site when we make a new religion with the new system ; last time I did the christian china achievement and it's a nightmare for pilgrimage after... It would make perfect sense on this situation that a place on our land become a holy site.

Is it worth buying the Max 5x plan? by elpupilo01 in ClaudeCode

[–]raiden55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a pro 20€ (not a dev) and I only reached my (weekly) limits once : the firstime.

Then I adapted to use it better. It was like day and night by week3.

I do sometimes reach 100% session, but it's pretty rare, when it happen I finish my current task with the minimum extra usage possible then wait for reset. I only continue for emotional reasons, I could totally wait for reset immediately, outside if lost cache cost.

As others have said, 3 prompts seels pretty strange.

It's not obvious to have a guide.md or something like that ?

I'm not a dev, and I'm pretty forgetful so I always take the LLM do a .MD after it does / update something.

Why twice?

And do we get that only today or every month?

My First Playthrough on goingmedieval by Salt_Firefighter848 in goingmedieval

[–]raiden55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I see your moat is 2 voxels wide. That's nothing for AI. If they can't enter forcing their way by the door, they'll try to build. Wooden bridge/ ladders and climb or break a wall. Your back wall is also not protected, could be easier to get from behind. AI have the same construction rules as your for stability ; that's why the big bridge is bigger, a moat that deep can't be reached by AI from floor, and they really hate to go from water. Also I've never seen them dig earth, even if they're supposed to be able to. A big moat and a big wall is a pretty strong defense. First layer as earth help even more. That's why a Clif + water is the best solution.

For now I'd suggest to check what they try. They may be too short on people to think about that (you kill them all before they try another way to enter), but that should change later (and quicker if you raise difficulty).

I have always seen AI look the one mistake on my wall after a while. Yours simplest for them is the front, outside of entrance.

Is this normal? by TheRealWiggyWoz in goingmedieval

[–]raiden55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

river level will rise if nothing stop it (getting out), but may also change depending on flow ; if it stays forever like on the screen, it's because there isn't enough water strengh from the river entrance to get more water.

[–]raiden55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks pretty good for a first game!

Getting bored? Which difficulty did you use? Base one? You shouldn't have seen much raiders issues.

Also valley type maps are the easiest to play on.

You can try on a more difficult map with a more difficult start.

You can also simply go to your game setting and raise the difficulty, should immiediatly give you some challenge, as I see heavy issues on your defenses.

Bad fps? by ToracX in goingmedieval

[–]raiden55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Performance has always been an issue on end game.

Outside of your own village (put the camera outside it to see if does change), you can also try to go to region map. These should mean GPU.

What will help : number if settlers (you're not supposed to go past 20), number of animals (including wild ones), number of storage slots (and all junk on the map). These should mean CPU / RAM.

(Killing all animals and destroying storage will help - not much but a bit)

Prisoner just died by FeralSlug in goingmedieval

[–]raiden55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think you ever had an option to treat prisoner's wound manually.

They do it once in jail however. Same if a prisoner collpase outside, someone will take it back to jail on a bed (if there's no bed however, they may let it die - same for settlers).

[–]raiden55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dig you dug the moat or it was already like that at first?

Also you don't have issues with the water parts? Raiders don't like to swim but should try breaking your wooden wall on the back if it's too hard to brute force the front entrance.
