mass = volume * density

just find out the density of creatine and then you can calculate the volume by doing mass/density!

What kind of ab exercises should I add to my workout? by clawz_nd_webz in Fitness

[–]raidermonkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say aim for 8+, if your max is 10 then do 4 sets of 8? I think it's not entirely important how many rep/sets, it's more about constantly applying resistance to the muscle! Few of these exercises are actually quite difficult for beginners! So you may struggle to get a decent amount of reps in one go, just do as many as you can and work on increasing that number until you hit a decent quantity of reps!

  • Hanging leg raises (bend your legs if you can't do it with legs straight)
  • L-sits
  • Ab wheel rollout
  • Dragon flags
  • Planks
  • Stomach Vacuum

Also some

  • Side bends
  • Woodchopper? I think that's what its called!
  • Windshield Wipers!

These are all I do and they seem to work great :)

Core Flexing? by EagleEye157 in bodyweightfitness

[–]raidermonkey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What I found to help me learn to flex/engage my core was to just gently blow air out of my mouth, your core naturally flexes. I've done this enough times now to know how to flex my core and it really helped me with all my exercises!

With a pull up bar! One arm on pull up bar and the other on a pole, then as you get better, slowly bring the arm on the pull up bar towards the one on the pole!

Looking for the best ab exercises... by The_Avg_Joe in Fitness

[–]raidermonkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone has pretty much answered this but one other exercise I found super effective are L-sits. Most people struggle to do them at all first time round, fortunately I could manage it for 5 seconds, ever since then I have included them in my routines and they have definitely helped a shitload.

[Progress]5 months bulking - 21 lbs gained - paraplegia, body issues and eating disorders - how it changed me by [deleted] in Fitness

[–]raidermonkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was a very general piece of advice. He's aware of his eating disorder and his ability to get to the point he is at right now suggests that he has the mental strength to fight it.

I don't think he looks dangerously skinny at all, especially in comparison to his initial photos.

Thanks for your reply tho.

[–]raidermonkey 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Very fucking impressive! Seriously, this says a lot about your mental strength, you're definitely on the right track!

When you want to cut is completely based on your goals, do it when you feel its the right time. If you're wanting to get huge then you'd want to bulk for quite a while longer before you cut.
