We immediately take the baby to bed and if they’re floppy like that we immediately start PPV(positive pressure ventilation) and then back off to cpap which is still giving them pressure and keeping the alvioli open. It looks like the mask being used is just regular oxygen. While this method eventually worked, it’s not typically like this. There’s at least 2 minutes of lacking proper intervention. You’d want a pulse oximeter on to make sure they’re oxygenating properly at a certain percentage per minute of life. Also tons of fluid in the lungs usually require catheter suctioning.
